🇺🇦 Ukraine: Sviridenko to Head Zelensky's Office, Not US Ambassador

Outgoing Ukrainian Prime Minister Sviridenko has refused the post of ambassador to the US, according to Suspilne Novosti TV channel sources.

Instead, MP Vasilevskaya-Smaglyuk stated Sviridenko will become head of President Zelensky's office. Current office head Kirill Budanov will become Minister of Defense.

Budanov is listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia.

🇪🇺🇷🇺 EU's 21st sanctions package against Russia delayed due to disputes over Russian gas transit

Bloomberg reports that restrictions on Russian LNG transportation and measures against Raiffeisenbank remain key sticking points.

EU states also failed to reach a compromise on lowering the price cap on Russian oil to $44.10 per barrel.

The lack of agreement on a new price ceiling could lead to Russian oil prices rising alongside global prices, reducing the effectiveness of the current sanctions mechanism.

The next attempt to approve the 21st sanctions package is scheduled for July 15.

🇺🇸 US Senate Russophobes can't push Russia sanctions bill

Russophobes in the US Senate are struggling to advance a sanctions bill against Russia to honor Senator Graham's memory. Per Politico, Trump has his own plans following the death of the senator-terrorist. Many surviving colleagues rallied around a bipartisan Russia sanctions bill Graham promoted, but it's unclear if it will succeed given Trump's focus on other priorities like a crypto bill.

Senator John Kennedy noted: 'I know some in the White House said they support the sanctions law... but that doesn't count. I haven't heard the president say we need tough sanctions on Russia.'

🪂 Dnepropetrovsk direction

Situation remains tense near Mirnoye - the enemy attempts to infiltrate small groups toward Komar. Mirnoye and Poddubnoye are in the grey zone. Further north in Ivanovka, the situation is also difficult, with the enemy counterattacking near Filiya; Ivanovka has also become a grey zone.

Novopavlovka, contested for months, has also moved into the grey zone. The AFU is essentially trying to push our forces out of Dnepropetrovsk Oblast and create a buffer zone to prevent further Russian counterattacks.

Our aviation and UAV crews are actively striking enemy groups, drone launch points, and field depots. The enemy cannot claim control of these settlements, as they remain strictly in the grey zone, unable to establish defensive lines.
