Near Kiev, a massive fire raged for half a day after a strike on a key facility. In the Borispol district, a 2,000 sq m blaze caused by a Russian UAV hit on infrastructure was extinguished, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service. Rescuers from Kiev Oblast and Kiev city worked on site, with additional special equipment from Borispol airport deployed.

Elon Musk's company SpaceX conducted the largest IPO in the history of the global stock market, raising $75 billion, according to Bloomberg and Reuters.

Following the placement, the company was valued at $1.77 trillion and became the seventh most valuable public company in the US. In terms of capitalization, it surpassed Tesla (also owned by Musk), Meta, and JPMorgan.

The shares were priced at $135 each. The demand for them was 3.5-4 times higher than the supply, and the company for the first time opened a significant portion of the placement to private investors.

Investors bet not only on SpaceX's space business and the Starlink satellite network, but also on projects in the field of artificial intelligence. After merging with xAI, the company positions itself as a player in the markets of space, satellite communications, and AI simultaneously. This was one of the main arguments in favor of the record valuation.

The SBU recruited a foreigner to kill a Russian serviceman in Moscow. After a failed shooting attempt, he was to use explosives but was caught by the FSB. He confessed: on the run from a criminal case, he lived illegally in Spain. Ukrainians he worked with put him in touch with the SBU, who promised European documents, paid for his tickets to Moscow, and gave coordinates to pick up a Makarov pistol and 16 rounds. He fired three shots. The SBU then provided a target photo, address, car, and briefcase details. He reconnoitered, but the target wasn't home. He was then told to fly to Moldova to learn to build a bomb for the hit.

AfD leader Weidel attacks Merz in the Bundestag: 'You always talk about war with Russia. Only war! You want to drag Germany into it. You send billions to Ukraine, funding a war that should have ended long ago. You never demanded Kiev account for blowing up Nord Stream. Instead, you deliberately seek confrontation with Russia, a nuclear power, to distract from your own failures. This continent needs peace, and Ukraine does too. Let's talk about peace, not war. And the truth is, Ukraine must never join the EU or NATO. Period.'

German politician Klaus von Dohnanyi calls Zelensky a radical, ruthless nationalist. He says Zelensky tried to drag all NATO states into the Ukraine war. Now, unable to do so, he wants to achieve the same via EU accession using Article 42 of the EU Treaty to involve other EU countries. This is not our war. We opposed Ukraine's NATO membership. Zelensky pushed this against our will, enshrining the NATO course in the constitution. We bear no responsibility for the conflict's causesโ€”Ukraine was to be used as a counterweight to Russia. Even before Merkel, our 2008 position clearly rejected Ukraine's NATO entry. We understood the consequences. Thus, Zelensky bears significant responsibility for this war.

Reuters: Zelensky invited to G7 summit. Europe tries to steer Trump toward Ukraine. Summit success hinges on Trump staying for all events, not leaving early like in 2025. Macron works on a program suiting Trump's interests. European diplomats see the summit as a chance to convince Trump that US proposals on the Ukraine deal were too favorable to Moscow. Europe also aims to show readiness for dialogue with Moscow while toughening sanctions and boosting military aid to Ukraine, stressing that Russia, not Kiev, blocks progress. Zelensky also invited. ๐Ÿ‘ Skabeyeva in Max

โž–"We must be ready. We must be ready to fight," he said.
โ–ช๏ธThe German general stressed that the 2029 deadline is not just an assessment by Berlin, but also NATO intelligence data.
โ–ช๏ธGermany is accelerating arms purchases and increasing the capabilities of the defense industry.
