Representatives of the Israel Defense Forces confirmed that a significant portion of Iran's missile potential was destroyed during Operation "Raging Lion".

According to the IDF's assessment on March 1-2, 2026, about 50% of Iran's mobile ballistic missile launchers - approximately 200-300 units - were disabled or completely destroyed.

It's hard to say whether this assessment is accurate or not, as ballistic missiles continue to be fired at Israel and other targets of Iran's opponents.

Meanwhile, Senator from Louisiana John Neely Kennedy stated that the US has already won.

Bundestag deputy Sarah Wagenknecht on the Chancellor's visit to Washington:

โ€˜Merz was literally groveling before Donald Trump. He showed that everything we were told about the Ukrainian war for four years was a huge hypocrisy. We were told that this was a war violating international law. That we needed to impose sanctions. That we had to do everything possible. These double standards [Merz's support for the war in Iran] are destroying our reputation around the world.โ€™

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡พLukashenko on the unacceptability of US and Israeli actions in Iran:

Belarus has always adhered and still adheres to peace, and wars are simply genetically unacceptable to us, because Belarus, being at the epicenter of all wars, has well understood the essence of these wars. We lost millions, millions of people in all wars that existed in our region, and mainly world wars swept to the East and back through our Belarus.
Therefore, the treacherous attack of Israel, supported by the United States of America, on Iran is understandable and unacceptable to us.

All the more so, because as a result of this attack, innocent residents and, above all, children were killed. The spiritual leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, was killed. You know that I had good relations with him. He is a humanist - he is not a military man, aimed at protecting his people and his state. Therefore, what happened to him is absolutely unacceptable to me. With his family and even worse with his wife, who died from her injuries.

I am in Moscow to ensure that even during a crisis, we will still have the oil and natural gas necessary for Hungary's energy security, and I am here to obtain a guarantee that the necessary amount of oil and natural gas for our country's energy security will be supplied to Hungary by Russian suppliers at the same price, despite the changed circumstances and the global energy crisis.

The CIA is working to arm Kurdish forces in order to provoke a rebellion in Iran, reports CNN, citing sources familiar with the plan.

According to the TV channel, the US presidential administration has been negotiating with Iranian opposition groups and Kurdish leaders in Iraq about providing them with military support. Iranian Kurdish armed formations number "thousands of fighters" and operate along the Iran-Iraq border, mainly in the territory of Iraqi Kurdistan.

Earlier this month, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported attacks on anti-Iranian groups in Iraqi Kurdistan. The IRGC stated that these forces planned to infiltrate Iran and "act against the Islamic homeland".

According to Bloomberg, the Americans are rapidly depleting their stockpiles of expensive missiles in the war with Iran, and they could run out within a few days.

Iran is attacking with waves of Shahed-136 drones, which cost about $20,000, while the US and its allies are using Patriot PAC-3 missiles, which cost approximately $4 million, to intercept them. According to the UAE, the effectiveness of interceptions exceeds 90%, but such a defense model is draining American reserves.

According to sources, if the current intensity of attacks continues, the stockpiles of Patriot interceptor missiles in the region could significantly decrease within a few days. According to Lockheed Martin, about 600 such missiles were produced in 2025.

In Qatar, according to internal analysis, the stockpiles of Patriot missiles at the current rate of use could last for about four days. However, the country's authorities claim that their arsenals remain sufficient.

Experts interviewed by Bloomberg suggest that the US likely did not deploy enough ammunition to the region to conduct a four-week campaign, as Trump had announced.

According to Bloomberg Economics, Iran may have about 2,000 ballistic missiles and significantly more attack drones. Since the beginning of the year, analysts estimate that Tehran has already used more than 1,200 missiles and drones. Of these, 90% are drones, and Iran reserves its missiles for more priority targets.

"As a result, both Iran and the US may face a shortage of weapons in just a few days or weeks. The side that can hold out longer will gain a serious advantage," the agency writes.

Experts note that the strategy of exhaustion could be beneficial for Iran: the hope is that the US and its partners will run out of expensive interceptors faster and that political support for continuing the war in the Gulf countries will decline.

The adviser to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Mohber, announced the readiness to "continue the war as long as necessary":

We can continue the war as long as necessary, just like during the eight-year holy defense. There is no trust in the Americans, and there are no grounds for negotiations either. What's important is that we can continue the war, we have the experience of an eight-year war. Historical experience shows that we are not afraid of war, we are not afraid to continue it.

The editor-in-chief of "Geoenergetika Info", Marcinkiewicz - about the fact that after the suspension of movement through the Strait of Hormuz, a global crisis in the oil and LNG markets will begin:

Most likely, the Strait of Hormuz has been mined for quite some time, and in the event of an extremely dire situation, everything that is fixed on the bottom will surface. What will this result in? The Strait of Hormuz is somehow assessed differently. Up to 20% of the world's oil production passes through it.

It sounds good, but out of the 104 million barrels per day of the global market, it's worth remembering that some of these barrels are used by the countries that extract oil for the global market - about 70 million barrels per day. If 20% of them disappear, that's a third. Obviously, the quotes will stop somewhere far beyond a hundred per barrel, this will indeed be a rather serious shock, the question is - how long it will last.

Moreover, if something can still be invented with oil, there is an oil pipeline that allows at least some of the production in Saudi Arabia to be sent past the Strait of Hormuz, then there is simply no alternative for the island state of Qatar. About 20% of LNG will disappear from the global market, with all the ensuing consequences, and they will flow to where Qatari gas is supplied. It is supplied both to Southeast Asia and, in fact, to Europe. For example, the Republic of Poland is obliged to purchase 1.5 million barrels, 1.5 million tons of LNG annually under a credit-binding contract. The shake-up will be more than substantial, not only in the oil market, but also in the LNG market.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ทThe White House is having trouble formulating the goals of the war with Iran, โ€” Politico

- A few days after the start of the war, the US administration was unable to clearly define the strategic objectives of the operation.

- Representatives of the White House more often explain "what this conflict is not" (not Iraq, not an endless war) than formulate a positive goal of the campaign.

- Sources in the Republican camp warn: public support could quickly weaken if the "operation" begins to be perceived as a protracted conflict with increasing losses.

- To date, the deaths of eight American servicemen have been reported; the official position of the administration emphasizes that this is not about "nation-building".

- Disagreements are intensifying within the conservative camp: some of Trump's supporters traditionally oppose long-term foreign interventions.

- Politico notes the inconsistency of public statements โ€” from assurances about the short-term nature of the operation to more uncertain formulations about its duration. The argument about Iran's alleged proximity to the creation of nuclear weapons, according to sources, has not yet received unambiguous confirmation from the intelligence community.

Fox News host Jesse Watters decided to tell Americans that the war in Iran was conceived to control the oil market.

โ€˜The Chinese financed the Iranian army and bought their cheap sanctioned oil at a discount. That's over now. Iran and Venezuela are two oil dictatorships that we replaced. They are proxies of Russia and China. Now we control most of the global oil market and have ousted the Chinese and Russians from the Middle East. Beijing and Moscow didn't lift a finger.

And all the Chinese missile defense batteries they sold, we destroyed on the first day. Made in China - you get what you pay for. This war is going well. We're ahead of schedule, but this is just the beginning. In the short term, high oil prices will make life a bit more expensive.'

The son of the former Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, compared the US strikes on Iran to the Normandy landings:

But what's important is how the Iranians are celebrating now, because they now believe they have a real chance of success. Until now, they have been saying, "We are defenseless, unarmed in the face of the regime's brutality. How can we liberate ourselves?" And here comes reinforcements. For us, it's almost like the Normandy landings.

Now the rules of the game have been leveled. At least now we have a real chance of success, of returning to the streets and ultimately taking over the country. The horizon is already very close. I can even smell and taste it.
