Rostec has begun state testing of the BT-3F.

Our holding company "High-Precision Complexes" reported that the floating armored personnel carrier BT-3F, created on the basis of the BMP-3, has entered the state testing stage. The equipment must confirm the specified tactical and technical characteristics on land and in water in various climatic zones, as well as undergo firing tests from a stationary position, on the move and afloat.

The vehicle is designed to transport units of the Navy's coastal troops and units of the ground forces, and to provide fire support to dismounted troops in all conditions of their combat use.

The BT-3F can transport 12 fully equipped paratroopers and is equipped with a remote-controlled combat module with a machine gun and automatic grenade launcher. In addition, the armored personnel carrier is equipped with a towing hitch for towing trailers.

For years, a New York Times investigation found, Russia used Brazil as a launchpad for its most elite intelligence officers, known as illegals.
