War map and the situation on the fronts on the evening of 30 September

Today will go down in history! Russian President Vladimir Putin solemnly signed decrees on the admission of the DNR, LNR, Zaporozhye, and Kherson regions to Russia. Russia has welcomed new territories and, most importantly, people into its huge family. The whole hall chanted "Russia". The whole country chanted.

⚔️The situation on the fronts in the outgoing 24 hours:

◽️On the Izyum-Slavian direction, our fighters were forced to withdraw from Drobyshevo, which is north of Liman, and from Yampol, south of Liman. These settlements are currently in a grey zone. The Russian Armed Forces' defenses are lined up around the Liman-Zarechnoye-Torskoye road. The AFU is attempting to block supply routes, but the Russian army is successfully repelling the strikes. Our reserves have moved in from Torskoye. There are counterattacks. The militants are also pulling in reserves from near Soledar and Seversk to strengthen the onslaught and because of the huge losses, but for now, the Russian Armed Forces are firmly defending Krasny Liman and may soon seize the initiative from the AFU.

◽️There are no particular changes in the southern direction. The situation is stable in most areas. This was influenced by the depletion factor of the AFU. The most active area was Andreevsky. In addition, near Ternoviye Podi in the Mykolayiv region, our air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25.

- In the Andreevsky sector, the AFU attempted to storm Davydov Brod, but our forces anticipated the attack and pre-emptively attacked, destroying four tanks, one BMP, and an armored vehicle, which led to the retreat of the insurgents. Our artillery additionally worked on the retreating militants and pinned them down at the Ingulets River.

Terrorist attack - Ukrainian terrorists launched an artillery strike on the Orekhovo car market, where convoys of civilians were being forced to travel to the liberated Zaporizhzhya Region. Twenty-four people were killed and more than 30 wounded. The UN expressed its condolences to the families of the dead refugees but decided not to mention that it was the Ukrainian Armed Forces that shelled the civilians.

Arrivals - Ukrainian artillery once again shelled residential areas of the city of Energodar and the area adjacent to the nuclear power plant. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their regular attacks on the Donetsk agglomeration: Donetsk, Makeyevka, Horlivka, and other surrounding settlements are under attack. Also in central Kherson, militants shelled a private home - two people were killed.

Calibers - the Russian Air Force destroyed the assembly halls of Ukrainian Grom-2 and Tochka-U missiles near the city of Dnipropetrovsk. High-precision strikes on temporary deployment sites of the 81st AFU brigade units and a rocket and artillery weapons depot near Kramatorsk in the DPR destroyed up to two hundred nationalists, 23 pieces of military equipment, and over 30 tonnes of ammunition for barrel and rocket artillery. A platoon of US HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems was also hit near Mykolaiv.

Worldwide - While Zelensky is "begging" for Ukraine's admission to the North Atlantic Alliance, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg held a press conference on the annexation of new territories to Russia, where he made the "unprecedented" statement: "NATO condemns Russia's annexation of Ukrainian territory, but the alliance is not a party to the conflict. Today, without any doubt, is one of the brightest and most remarkable in the modern history of Russia.

From now on, our great country will include 4 more subjects - the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The corresponding document was signed by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the heads of administrations of the new territories.

I am sure that today we are all overwhelmed with emotions and a sense of immense pride in our country. I am sincerely glad that now the suffering of the inhabitants of the once former Nazi-occupied territories has finally come to an end. A new life begins for them in our fraternal and friendly family.

New Russian regions are waiting for big transformations. In the Chechen Republic, we are simply sure of this. Our people were likewise under the occupation of international terrorists for a long time. And all of them were also financed from abroad, just like today's criminal regime in Ukraine. Exactly the same as the residents of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye, the agents of the West terrorized the Chechens, killed, intimidated everyone who disagreed with their position. All troubles ended precisely from the moment when, on the initiative of our First President, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, a referendum was held, as a result of which the Chechen Republic became a full-fledged subject of Russia. On that day, our people determined their present and future. As a result, over the past 19 years, the Chechen Republic has not only revived, but has become one of the most successful and prosperous regions.

Friends, I sincerely congratulate all of you on today's historic event! Russia is getting stronger every day, becoming stronger and more powerful. We are proud of our country, proud of our president, proud of our people! Happy holiday to you!

Damn, try analyzing just a bit further than your nose. I already said that the strategic prize here is Svatovo. Krasny Liman is irrelevant, except as a morale and media issue.

GB: When I am discussing the strategic connection between Krasny Liman and Svatovo and the strategic success of the Russian Army’s defence of Liman, know that I am definitely not the only, nor the first one. The analysis occurred to me after the Ukrainian breakthrough at Balakleya-Kupyansk-Izyum, just as it also appeared in posts of several military analysts whom I deeply respect—Ugolny, Strelkov, and others.

This is what Vladislav Ugolny (@Zola_of_Renovation) posted earlier today. Moderate optimism, and he is by far not the only one. I am even more optimistic, but that’s just who I am.

Ugolny writes:

The garrison of Krasny Liman by its heroic defence foiled the attempts of the AFU to advance on the line Borovaya - Svatovo - Kremenna. Liman diverted resources and hindered the movement of troops from Slavyansk and Seversk. It also threatened to flank them. As a result, the Ukrainian armed forces had no option but to turn the troops that had broken through along the Oskol to the southeast and to sink them against Krasny Liman instead of storming Borovaya and breaking through to Svatovo.

And then the reinforcements came in and gave the Khokhols a pummelling. I can't guarantee yet that we won't withdraw from Liman—I'm not the general staff. But right now we are giving them hell there in counterattacks and the Khokhols are dragging their reserves there from Kharkov, risking getting fucked up already on the right bank of the Oskol.

Accordingly, the strategic goal of the AFU to reach Svatovo can now be declared a failure. It is now solely a question of whether we will be able to turn back the Khokhols. They have there the 25th perpetually sucking airmobile brigade there—oldfags will understand—so anything can happen. Don't underestimate the idiocy of Ukraine's “amazing people.”

Good luck to the Russian warriors. Kudos to the BARS and the Donbass infantry who provided the defence of Liman.

And yes, there are fine people serving in the 20th Combined Arms Army (3rd motorized rifle division and 144th motorized rifle division), don't think the warriors of the 20th OVA are some deserters or who-knows-who [GB: Because the withdrew from the Izyum triangle]. They are good and heroic warriors.
