My thoughts on #Bitcoin (and the market as a whole) going into FOMC later today

1. If you look at the Bitcoin chart, it seems like we will stay at around the $22,300 area for quite some more time.

2. There’s a good chance we get a small pump to $23,300 area and consolidate for some time before continuing its journey up.

3. Based on history, if FOMC is 0.25 we get a small pump for a few minutes across the board, and then dump back down as soon as Jerome Powell starts talking.

4. If FOMC is 0.50 markets dump, no question about that, and it doesn’t seem like anyone is expecting or prepared for that.

5. There’s a very small chance that regardless of how many basis points we get, Jerome Powell announces that this is the LAST time they will raise interest rates, then we get full market reversal and probably see 30K Bitcoin within the next week.

Let’s see what happens

My personal plan going in to FOMC is, I’m mostly out of the market, have just two limit orders set for Eth and Btc to try and get a long in if we get a pull back. If my orders aren’t reached, that’s fine. Remember cash preservation is more important than trying to make money. Don’t force trades, wait for the market to come to you.

Overall waiting until after FOMC, will assess and plan next move after it.
