We are aware that many flat buyers are anxious about their BTO flat construction delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Here are some measures we have actively taken to reduce BTO flat delays and help affected flat buyers:

Pilot new ways to bring in overseas workers from various countries safely
Grant exemptions for less noisy construction activities on Sundays and Public Holidays
Assist affected flat buyers with alternative housing while waiting for BTO flats
Waive forfeiture and wait-out periods for cancellations of BTO flat applications on a case-by-case basis

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this critical period. #SGTogether

🗺 To meet the strong demand for housing, especially in mature estates, HDB has been building more new flats in mature estates in recent years.

📊 As high BTO application rates in mature estates towns tend to be higher, we encourage you to consider BTO flats in the non-mature estates for a better chance of securing a home.
