The Ansarullah government forces are attempting to push past the Al-Balaq heights โan area where the situation currently remains unclearโ and advance toward the Great Marib Dam.
Further south, Ansarullah forces are launching repeated assaults from the town of Yara against the PLCโs defensive lines at Balaq al-Gharbi, some claim in an effort to break through.
However, it's more likely that Ansarallah is conducting what's known in military jargon as a series of "aggressive probing actions", to locate the weaknesses in the enemy lines.
