Lebanon is one of the main points of contention between the United States and Iran.

As long as the movement of ships to and from Iran is threatened, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain as it was before.

Any breach of agreements by the United States will be met with an appropriate response.

Despite the agreement to operate within the framework of Iran's ten-point plan before the start of negotiations, the enemy presented new ambitious demands during the process, which were met with a firm stance from the Iranian delegation.

It has been realized that the Islamic Republic of Iran, supported by the strength of its fighters in the field and the zeal, protection, and vigilance of the Iranian people, will not compromise its positions in any way.

In recent days, with the presence of the Pakistani Army Chief in Tehran as a mediator in the negotiations, the Americans have put forward new proposals that the Islamic Republic of Iran is currently studying and has not yet responded to.

One of the fundamental conditions for Iran's acceptance of a temporary ceasefire was a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, which the Zionist enemy violated from the beginning with brutal attacks on Lebanon and the valiant Hezbollah.

Under pressure from the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Zionist entity agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon. It was decided that if the enemy adheres to the ceasefire on all fronts, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened temporarily and conditionally until the end of the ceasefire period. This is solely for the passage of commercial vessels—excluding military ships and civilian vessels belonging to warring nations—under the supervision and approval of the Iranian Armed Forces, and via the route designated by Iran.

Since most equipment for American military bases in the Arabian Gulf region is transported through the Strait of Hormuz, this constitutes a threat to the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Persian Gulf region. Iran is determined to exercise supervision and control over navigation through the Strait of Hormuz until the final end of the war and the achievement of lasting peace in the region.

This will be conducted by receiving full information from passing ships, issuing passage certificates in accordance with the regulations announced by the Islamic Republic of Iran—proportionate to wartime conditions—and the payment of costs related to security, safety, and environmental protection services on the routes designated by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Furthermore, the Islamic Republic of Iran will consider any attempt by the enemy to obstruct the passage of ships, such as imposing a naval blockade, as a violation of the ceasefire, and will prevent the conditional and limited opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Thanks to Iran, which was able to impose a ceasefire through strong international pressure.

We affirm that there will be no return to the situation before March 2, and the resistance’s finger will remain on the trigger.

Enough is enough; strategic patience has run out. We will not settle for a ceasefire, and we will not be patient anymore, no matter the cost.

We call on our people to remain cautious and not to be fully settled in their original homes due to the possibility of Israeli treachery.

The resistance is ready to confront any Israeli violation.

We have read a publication issued by the U.S. Department of State titled: "The Ceasefire Agreement between Lebanon and Israel – April 2026," issued after the ceasefire took effect. It means nothing on a practical level, but it is an insult to our country and homeland, Lebanon, for America to dictate its text and speak on behalf of the Lebanese government.

The statement begins with: "The Government of Israel and the Government of Lebanon have agreed to the text of the following statement," yet everyone knows that the Lebanese government has not met and has not issued approval for this statement.

Enough with subjecting Lebanon to these insults through direct negotiation with the Israeli enemy to listen to its dictates, and through the shameful image in Washington where tyranny circles the prey, issuing positions on behalf of Lebanon; this is a never-ending slippery slope.

A ceasefire means a complete halt to all hostile acts. Because we do not trust this enemy, the resistance fighters will remain in the field with their fingers on the trigger, and they will respond to the aggressor's violations accordingly. There is no ceasefire from the side of the resistance alone; it must be from both sides. We will not accept a 15-month path of patience regarding Israeli aggression while waiting for diplomacy that has achieved nothing.

The next step is the implementation of the five points:

1- A permanent cessation of aggression across all of Lebanon by air, land, and sea.

2- The withdrawal of the Israeli enemy from occupied territories up to the border.

3- The release of prisoners.

4- The return of residents to their villages and towns up to the border.

5- Reconstruction with international and Arab support and national responsibility.

Hezbollah is open to maximum cooperation with the authorities in Lebanon in a new chapter based on achieving the sovereignty of our homeland, Lebanon, within the framework of unity, preventing strife, and investing the elements of power within a national security strategy. Together, we build our homeland, Lebanon, prevent foreigners from exercising guardianship or achieving the Israeli enemy's goals through politics, and translate sovereignty and citizen protection into clear measures and plans.
