On Sunday evening, the US terrorist army once again launched an attack on parts of Larak Island, violating the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of our valiant defenders and dear citizens, as well as damage to public and private property.

In response to this military aggression, and in accordance with the inherent right to legitimate self-defense, the capable Iranian Armed Forces targeted US military bases in Jordan, which were the source and supporter of the US military aggression against Iran, with defensive strikes.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the US military aggression on Larak, which constitutes a clear violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter, and reminds the UN Security Council and the Secretary-General personally of their responsibility to maintain international peace and security and to hold the aggressor accountable.

The Islamic Republic of Iran reminds the UN Secretary-General, the President of the Security Council, and all countries that have expressed concern about the continued insecurity in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, that the sole cause of the insecurity in the region's shipping lanes is the illegal and aggressive actions of the United States and the Zionist regime. These actions began with the attack on Iran on February 28, and have continued over the past six months in various forms, including the naval blockade and other provocative and interventionist measures.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to exercise their inherent right to legitimate self-defense and will respond appropriately and decisively to any military aggression by the enemy.

It is self-evident that the full responsibility for the consequences of the United States' new aggressive actions, the continued naval blockade, and the economic war against Iran lies with the US regime and all parties that cooperate or participate in any way in preparing and implementing these illegal and interventionist US actions.

Since dawn today, in response to the recent attacks by the aggressor and in retaliation for the martyrdom of the brave Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the innocent Iranian people on Larak Island, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by launching dozens of suicide drones, targeted the positions of helicopters and child-killing US forces at the Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE.

Al Minhad Air Base is a key support and airlift hub for foreign forces.

O noble and defiant Islamic people of Iran, your epic and continuous presence on the battlefield for 183 nights has left the enemy bewildered and astonished. It is a source of hope for the oppressed and a beacon of light for those fighting for Islam.

In response to the American-Zionist enemy's air aggression against Larak Island, the Aerospace Force fighters, in an operation to punish the aggressor—a combined missile and drone operation under the slogan "O Muhammad ibn Abdullah" (PBUH)—destroyed the enemy's technical infrastructure, maintenance facilities, and fighter jet positions at the King Hussein and Azraq air bases in Jordan.

This aggression and crime will not remedy the enemy's inability to weaken the Islamic Republic's control over the Strait of Hormuz. Every attack will be met with an even more crushing response.
