🇺🇳🇺🇸 The Associated Press reports that US stocks of Patriot missile interceptors in Europe have fallen to a “beyond critical” level, according to US and NATO officials.

The depletion is largely attributed to the heavy use of the systems during the war with Iran, while US transfers to Ukraine have further reduced available reserves.

The shortage is raising concerns over NATO’s ability to respond to a potential Russian ballistic-missile attack, as Washington faces growing pressure to replenish its air-defense stockpiles.

🇮🇷 Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei mocked Washington’s latest attempt to build an anti-Iran coalition, calling US policy toward Iran a “bitter joke.”

“Washington’s Iran policy has reached pure parody,” Baghaei wrote on X on Wednesday night, pointing to Bahrain as an example of what he described as an empty coalition.

He also mocked Washington for sanctioning Iranian sports and academic exchanges that, according to him, had already been effectively dead for years.

“Sanctioning the already sanctioned and calling the empty space a coalition.”

The remarks came as Washington continues its campaign of economic pressure against Tehran.
