A credible and imminent threat that President Donald Trumpโs Air Force One could be targeted by a shoulder-fired missile prompted the Secret Service to secretly move him onto a smaller C-32A government jet during his departure from Turkey last month, according to a source briefed on the matter.
Trump and a small group of aides were moved from Air Force One to the smaller aircraft using a catering truck in a last-minute operation designed to conceal his movements. Air Force One then departed separately carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, White House staff and the 13-member travelling press pool, while Trump flew to Britain without incident.
A second source said there was no clear operational plan to attack Trump, but there was an identified intent, which allowed both aircraft to fly. The threat may have involved a heat-seeking missile capable of targeting aircraft engines without emitting detectable radio signals, according to a defence expert.

The sailor said they had not had milk in three months and that the ship had received virtually "nothing fresh but meat," because it could be frozen. Fresh fruit and other food cannot survive the lengthy supply journey, with some shipments arriving "rotten."
The service member described the deployment as "the worst one," saying even sailors with extensive deployment experience considered it their worst "and believe it can get worse than this." They also expressed frustration over repeatedly extended time at sea and being kept away from their family longer than expected.
The sailor said another crew member he met in the smoke pit had suggested the deployment is โan experimentโ by the government to determine how far it could "push sailorsโ limits of being out to sea with the worst experience."

All supplies have to be brought in by air as logistics, 12,000 km from home, read like a horror story.
8 months of dealing with frequent equipment failures in the hot, humid and saline environmental conditions, eating rotten food and spending long hours of duty on combat alerts: each time Iran launches cruise missiles or drones to test the strike group's readiness or just as psychological warfare.
Jose Antonio Rivera Lynch IV went missing on 30/07/2026 and we're only hearing about it now.
