The Ansarallah is a collective of northern and central Yemenis, not just the Houthi.
During the Cold War this was an independent country called North Yemen.
They had a fairly sophisticated weapons industry, assembling Scud variants under license.
Iran is the world centre of Shia Islam. It's the heart and soul of the movement for global justice that began with the Ashura Uprising and Martrydom of Imam Hussein (AS) in 670AD.
As such Iran supports the world Shia in their struggles. This means the ethnically & culturally diverse entity moves along identical general guidelines.
So the so-called Resistance is made up of autonomous communities whose self governance is independent.
However, when a threat to their way of life - being inclusive, multi-ethnic, multi cultural, abolitionist, meritochratic social microcosms - is posed by supremacist outside forces, they move in unison to defend their realms.
The term "proxy" therefore, doesn't apply.
Whereas the term amply applies to the rag tag collection of unelected regional regimes propped up by Western colonialism, since they act along the lines of their masters' interests, regardless of harm inflicted on societies under their whip.

🇮🇷 The Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has appointed former Sepah (IRGC) commander Mohsen Rezaei as his representative to the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).

- He also thanked Mohammad-Bagher Zolghadr for his service.

- So, Zolghadr retains his position the Secretary of the SNSC despite reports to the contrary.
It's just that the prestige of being the Leader's representative has been passed on to Rezaei.

- General Rezaei is from the Bakhtiari clan. The clan is known for its stout defence of Iran throughout history.

- The Iranian general Aryobarzanes who nearly killed Alexander of Macedonia at the Battle of Persian Gates, was a Bakhtiari Satrap (appointed governor).

- The Bakhtiari and Zand clans are among those most closely associated with the ancient Iranians and the so-called Aryan Migration.
So perhaps this appointment is also a nod to the Persian majority in Iran.

🇺🇸🇸🇦The new contract "awarded" for the Saudi purchase of 730 PAC-3MSE missiles, along with certain ancillary equipment (excluding fire-control radars, command panels, or additional launchers), is valued at $9 billion: in other words, the cost of each Patriot missile in this new deal for Saudi Arabia works out at $12.3 million.
This is a clear-cut case of price gouging on the US part and a purchase born of desperation for the Saudis.
Riyadh fired 2400 PAC-3 interceptors during the first 38 days of the Ramadan War, mostly against Iranian drones that were only targeting the US facilities in the kingdom.
It currently has approximately 400 interceptors left.
Given the appalling rate of success against drones that cost Iran between $5,000-$19,000 to produce and the disastrous rate of successful missile interceptions, most logical minds would expect Riyadh to adopt a more realistic approach, rather than throw yet more billions at an ally that failed to protect its own installations let alone defend Saudi Arabia.
There's something very deeply troubling about the ruling families backed by the Epsteinist West in the region.
