We have an intelligence unit tasked with analyzing intelligence data, and they have concluded that Ukraine is involved in [terrorist] activities within Iraq.
We apprehended a number of groups that carried out attacks and targeted several facilities on Iraqi soil; upon interrogation, they confessed to working for Ukraine.

Following aggressive actions and his ongoing efforts to destabilize the region, the President of the United States has announced:
He will compensate for the damages sustained by ships affected during the imposed war on the Islamic Republic of Iran, due to the insecurity caused by the American military and their violation by passing through the illegal and unsafe route south of the Strait of Hormuz, using Iranian frozen assets.

While we warn the criminal President of the United States of the consequences of this illegal action, we also declare to all companies and countries that welcome Trump’s proposal and use the frozen Iranian assets under this pretext, that from now on, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not allow any of their ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

We have made no requests for negotiations with the US over the past 15 days. The Americans conveyed a message to us via Oman stating that they would not carry out military actions against us.

The provocative act that originated from Ukraine will not go unpunished.

Zelensky attacked an Iranian commercial ship and killed sailors. This act is a blatant violation of the UN Charter and was carried out at the instigation of Israel to drag Europe into a war with it.

During telephone conversations with Kaja Kallas, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, I affirmed that this provocative act by the person residing in Kyiv cannot be ignored.

I called Iran's Foreign Minister for a frank conversation. Diplomacy is about direct conversation, even when it's difficult. I stressed that our goal is to avoid unnecessary escalation.

I reiterated that all of Ukraine's actions are aimed solely at defending our country from Russian aggression and never intended to target civilian vessels or people.

This is also true with regard to Iran's statements about their national who died and a civilian vessel that was targeted in a recent incident. Our goal is to counter Russian aggression, which is the root cause of all incidents, and it is Russia who bears full responsibility for all provocations and casualties.

I emphasised the necessity to refrain from any escalatory steps, as well as to end any support for Russia's war against Ukraine. This war is illegal and it must end.

Our position remains unchanged: Europe and the Middle East deserve stability, security, and peace.

I was assured by Ukrainian FM that the attack on an Iranian ship was unintentional and Ukraine seeks no escalation.

Iran does not seek escalation either, but made clear any attack on our citizens or interests is unacceptable. There must be restitution for losses.
