🇮🇷 The Iranian government's Media Council has issued a statement addressing recent actions by the national broadcasting corporation. This statement follows the corporation's decision not to broadcast a segment of President Pezeshkian remarks on National Industry, Mining, and Trade Day. The omitted portion of the President's speech pertained to a permission granted by the late leader of the Islamic Revolution concerning negotiations.
- The Media Council highlighted that this incident occurred shortly after the broadcasting corporation aired an incomplete interview with the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (though the full interview was subsequently broadcast the following day), and censored a portion of the Head of the Judiciary's statements in support of the President. These instances are cited as examples of atypical conduct by the institution toward the leaders of the government's branches.
- Additionally, the Media Council noted the broadcasting corporation's failure to air the Foreign Minister's interviews with foreign media outlets during the Ramadan War. This is presented as further evidence of how the Iranian broadcasting corporation manages the official diplomatic voice of the country, particularly in light of ongoing propaganda from Iran's adversaries.

🇬🇧Essex Fire Service has responded to a 'large industrial unit fire' at Rettenden.
So far three versions of the story has surfaced:
1. Warehouse explosion
2. Farm warehouse explosion
3. Unnamed "Industrial unit"
However, it really does look like a munition production unit or a munitions warehouse.
Houses as far as 3 km away felt the blast.

🇺🇸Correspondent: "You are talking about bombing civilian power plants and bridges in Iran. Much of the civilized world considers this a war crime. Do you consider it a war crime?"
Trump: "I’m not answering that question. Which media outlet are you with?"
