- Officials stated that a suspect was arrested after security forces found a homemade explosive device (IED) inside his car before any attack could be carried out. During interrogation, the suspect confessed that he was recruited through specialized online chat rooms in search of work, and that he was operating under external instructions for a sum of $2,000.
