Time magazine's report reveals that Brad Parscale, former manager of Trump's campaign, runs a digital influence campaign through his firm "Clock Tower X" that is funded by Israel (under an agreement with the ad agency Havas since last September). The campaign aims to improve Israel's image among young American conservatives by producing around 100 pieces of content monthly across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

The key finding:

After the U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement on June 17, U.S. officials noticed that influencers from the "MAGA" movement attacked the deal using strikingly similar and simultaneous language. One official traced these posts back to Parscale, finding that he was behind the network driving them—even though his campaign was supposed to support Trump's position, not undermine it.

Reactions:

- An Israeli official expressed anger, saying they paid Parscale large sums but things only "got worse" instead of improving.
- A senior U.S. intelligence official described it as American influencers being paid by a foreign country in an attempt to sway the president's decisions.
- Parscale flatly denied any attempt to undermine Trump, calling the accusations false.
- Pew polls showed American support for Israel dropping to 32%, the lowest level in decades.
