The enemy Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, insisting on continuing its unjust blockade against the Yemeni people, launched a blatant aggression today, Monday, at 1:54 p.m., carried out by its military aircraft against Sana'a International Airport, targeting it with a number of airstrikes with the aim of closing it to humanitarian flights carrying patients and stranded persons to and from Sana'a International Airport.

The Armed Forces engaged the enemy aircraft to confront this treacherous and cowardly attack.

In response to this criminal Saudi aggression, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting Abha International Airport, using a number of ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The operation successfully achieved its objectives, by the grace of God.

By its reckless decision to attack Sana'a International Airport, the Saudi enemy bears full responsibility and the severe consequences of this brutal aggression, which serves the American-Zionist enemy and its resulting repercussions.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that they are determined in the righteous stance to repel the aggression and lift the unjust blockade on our country.

In this context, the Yemeni Armed Forces warn all airlines against overflying the airspace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and stress that these warnings should be taken seriously until the blockade on Sana'a International Airport is lifted.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Islamic Republic of Iran for its assistance to the Republic of Yemen in lifting the unjust blockade on Sana'a International Airport and for operating humanitarian flights to and from the airport.

Salutations to our great people who have taken to the streets in massive popular processions in the capital Sana'a, in the governorates, districts, villages, and hamlets.
