🇮🇷 🇮🇷 | Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (r) is to be buried in the Dar al Zuhd porch of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali al Ridha (A). The location is regarded as a masterpiece of Persian architecture and is also the burial place of prominent figures, including Ayatullah Khazali [a core member of the team that drafted the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran], Allama Muhammad Taqi Jafari, and Sayyid Abul Hasan Shirazi. According to the available information, the burial will take place at the center of this porch.

Dar al Zuhd is also known for its continuous Qur’an recitation gatherings, where groups of Qur’an reciters (Qaris) recite the Holy Qur’an day and night. Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (r) himself visited this porch on several occasions, including meetings with members of the Resistance Axis, particularly the Fatemiyoun Brigade.

There have been widespread public requests regarding the construction of a gravestone or a protective shrine structure (zarih) over the grave. According to the information presented here, these requests were not approved by Imam Sayyid Mujtaba Husayni Khamenei (H). However, this has not been officially confirmed. 🇮🇷 | Initial reports indicate that an armed attacker opened fire on IRGC and Basij personnel in the Sarfarazan area of Mashhad:

The attacker was reportedly carrying a Kalashnikov rifle. Preliminary reports indicate that at least two people were killed. The incident took place on the southern outskirts of Mashhad and is reported to be unrelated to the funeral ceremonies, which were held elsewhere in the city.
