The Pezeshkian-Ghalibaf-Araghchi-Zarif conspiracy to transmute the Islamic Republic into a US vassal state, is looking more beleagured than ever after what can only be a full broadside from the Islamic Republic's "big guns" has struck them square at midship.
The exceptionally direct rebuttal has served to nullify the Pezeshkian populist claims.
The statement from the assembly practically charges that the current government isn't engaging in the disastrous negotiations with the US for Iranians' sake as Ghalibaf and gang insist, without going further purely as warning of imminent action.
With Lebanon teetering on the edge of disaster, civil war and another Zionist occupation, a US puppet (for want of a better term) installed in Iraq and Washington making challenging noises about the control of the Strait of Hormuz, it is difficult to imagine a less impotent Iranian government in the history of the Islamic Republic.
But now, the Pezeshkian motley crew have received their first true taste of the sheer power that can be brought to bear on them.
It's true that the Assembly of Experts has no legislative power, but that is exactly why it wields so much power.
