🇮🇷 A statement issued by the leadership of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps:

In response to the arrogance and blatant aggression committed by the terrorist American forces by targeting the national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the precious island of "Qeshm", the aerospace force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, with the grace and help of Allah, and in fulfillment of its pledge to protect the soil of the homeland, destroyed the military bases of the American occupation in the State of Kuwait with precise and intensive missile strikes, which resulted in the successful destruction of their targets and the ignition of the aggressors' fortresses.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, while announcing this initial response to repay evil with evil, issues a stern warning at the highest level to the American administration, the head of global arrogance, and all those who allow their territories or airspace to be used as a launching pad for aggression against Iran:

Any new foolishness, further aggression, or any action that encroaches on even a single inch of our borders and sovereignty will be met with a seismic, decisive, and crushing response that exceeds the established norms and boundaries. Our valiant forces will not hesitate to reduce all the aggressors' headquarters and interests in the region to ashes.

The time of "strike and run" has passed. The forces of tyranny must bear the dire consequences of their ignorance and reckless adventures.

Some Reports say there is Iranian fighter jet activity in ilam which is on the iraqi border while other say there is USAF activity over Northern iraq.

🇺🇸🇰🇼🇧🇭/🇮🇷 CENTCOM on X confirms that they struck Qeshm Island as an act of self defense, and that their bases in the gulf got attacked:

U.S. forces successfully defeated multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, and conducted self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in response to attempted attacks by Iran across the Middle East, June 2. Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors; however, all failed to hit their intended targets. Two Iranian missiles fired at Kuwait fell short or broke apart enroute, and three missiles launched at Bahrain were immediately intercepted by U.S. and Bahrain air defense forces. Moments earlier, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces shot down three one-way attack drones launched by Iran toward civilian mariners that were rightfully transiting regional waters. American forces also conducted self-defense strikes on an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island.
