As part of the Islamic Resistance fighters’ confrontation of the Israeli enemy army’s incursion towards the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, since 04:00 AM on Wednesday, 27-05-2026, the fighters have been targeting enemy forces at the riverbed in the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah with rocket barrages, artillery shells, and heavy missiles.

Following the alerts that were activated at 14:47 regarding the infiltration of hostile aircraft in several areas in the north of the country, the explosion of several explosive-laden drones was detected. The incident is under investigation.

Urgent warning to the residents of Lebanon

In light of the repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement by Hezbollah, the Defense Army will act against it with great force.

We call on all residents of southern Lebanon to stay away from Hezbollah members, their facilities, and their combat means.

We advise the residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate to north of the Zahrani River, as all areas south of the river are considered combat zones, and the Defense Army does not intend to harm civilians.
