🇺🇸/🇮🇷 Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency reports that Tehran’s latest response to the recent U.S. proposal sets out several conditions, including recognition of its right to enrich uranium, the lifting of economic sanctions, and the release of frozen Iranian assets abroad.
Iran is also reportedly calling for a ceasefire across all fronts — including Gaza and Lebanon — alongside the removal of the U.S. naval blockade and compensation for war-related damages.
The response further demands the withdrawal of all UN Security Council resolutions against Iran, as well as the departure of U.S. military forces from the Persian Gulf region.

About a month after the fact, new information has surfaced regarding Pakistan’s military deployment to Saudi Arabia in April.
According to Reuters sources, roughly 8,000 Pakistani troops were sent, along with 16 JF-17 fighter jets and at least one HQ-9 air defense system.
The equipment is reportedly maintained by Pakistani military personnel, with Saudi Arabia covering the costs. This arrangement reflects a long-standing pattern of defense cooperation in which Islamabad provides military support services to Riyadh.
The deployed forces are expected to assist and strengthen the Saudi military, particularly in case of renewed threats or attacks.
Sources also indicate that the Pakistani contingent’s primary role will be focused on training and advisory support rather than direct combat operations.
A mutual defense agreement between the two countries has reportedly been in place since 2025.
