In these decisive moments, we call upon you for even more patience, steadfastness, and vigilance, and to refrain from heading to the villages, towns, and targeted areas in the South, Beqaa, and the southern suburbs of Beirut before the official and final announcement of the ceasefire in Lebanon. This treacherous and barbaric enemy, seeking to escape the image of its defeat, may resort to acts of treachery to create a false impression of an achievement it could not attain on the battlefield.

God willing, you will soon return to your villages and homes with pride, your heads held high, victorious and dignified as you have always been.

Lebanese official authorities have made contacts with international, European, and Arab parties concerned with the Lebanese situation, foremost among them Washington, informing them that the Lebanese authorities are the ones negotiating on their own behalf to resolve the conflict with Israel, and that any other negotiations addressing the Lebanese situation do not concern us and cannot be relied upon.
