According to field reports, more than 200 killed and wounded were recorded in the first hours of the attack, at a time when Israeli security authorities increased pressure on journalists and witnesses to impose a blackout on the extent of losses and damages.

A few hours ago, a hostile F-15 fighter jet was targeted in the airspace off the country's southern coast, near Hormuz Island, after being detected, tracked, and fired upon by an Army surface-to-air defense system.

The Army Public Relations office reported that investigations are underway to determine the fate of the fighter jet.
