The Israeli military's raids on Bandar Anzali on March 18 came after reports that Russia was supplying Iran with Shahed drones, Russian-made and possibly modified. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told CNN on March 15 that he had seen intelligence that confirmed 100% that Iran had used Russian-made Shahed drones, "with Russian specifications," to attack US bases in the Middle East.
