The IRGC Public Relations Office announced the execution of the 63rd wave of Operation True Promise 4 against US-linked oil facilities in the region. The operation, titled "O Master of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance)," was dedicated to the martyred Minister of Intelligence and all martyrs of the intelligence community.
It explained that the treacherous enemy targeted several energy facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran earlier today, aiming to oppress and exact revenge on the Iranian people.
It emphasized that Iran did not intend to expand the scope of the war to include oil facilities or harm the economies of friendly nations. However, the targeting of energy infrastructure necessitated entering a new phase of the conflict, requiring a response targeting energy facilities linked to the United States and its partners.
It added that the armed forces immediately launched an offensive response following the attack, carrying out a powerful operation that resulted in the burning of several oil facilities considered to be US interests in the region, in order to counterbalance the damage.
She concluded by warning the American and Zionist aggressors against repeating the targeting of energy infrastructure, stressing that the response will continue, and that any repetition will be met with greater escalation and more severe attacks until complete destruction.
