Turkish media reported that, due to the difficulty of exporting oil through the Strait of Hormuz, Iraq has resumed oil exports via the pipeline connecting Kirkuk in Iraq to the Turkish port of Ceyhan (highlighted in black on the map).

Operations on this pipeline were halted in 2023 and have now been restarted.
