🇮🇷⚔️🛢🇺🇸 Oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz have once again fallen as Iran steps up attacks and disrupts efforts to move crude through the waterway, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The US had managed to escort millions of barrels of crude through the Strait for several weeks, but that progress is now fading as Iran improves its targeting and intensifies attacks on ship-to-ship transfers.

Meanwhile, tanker costs have exploded, with daily charter rates reportedly reaching $1.3 million, compared with around $50,000 before the war — a roughly 26-fold increase.

Ansarallah still controls Dhubab city and Al-Omari Mountain, a heavily defended position that the PLC would reportedly need to seize before making a serious push into Dhubab. Local reports say a large Ansarallah reinforcement convoy carrying heavy weapons has entered the Al-Omari–Dhubab area.

The situation remains highly fluid, however, with reports also claiming that PLC forces were later pushed back from Dhubab Airport after a small number of trucks briefly entered the area and filmed there.

🇮🇷⚔️🇺🇸 UKMTO reports that Iranian armed forces hailed a tanker transiting the Strait of Hormuz, ordering it to turn back or face a strike.

The incident occurred 11 nautical miles north of Khasab, Oman.

The tanker’s master has confirmed that the vessel complied with the Iranian instructions.
