⭕ COANDA EFFECT
.
🔻Coanda effect is the phenomena in which a jet flow attaches itself to a nearby surface and remains attached even when the surface curves away from the initial jet direction. In free surroundings, a jet of fluid entrains and mixes with its surroundings as it flows away from a nozzle.

CFD simulation of Coanda effect!

---------------------
The #Coanda effect is a phenomenon in fluid dynamics where a fluid (such as air or water) tends to adhere to a curved surface instead of following a straight path. This effect was first described by Romanian aerodynamics pioneer Henri Coanda in the early 20th century.
----------------------
The Coanda effect has numerous practical applications, particularly in #aerodynamics and engineering. It is used in aircraft design to improve lift and control, as well as in various industrial processes such as air conditioning, ventilation systems, and even inkjet printing.
----------------------
In this simulation, I used #CFD tools to show the Coanda effect of an external flow around the cylinder and how the air touches the back point!
