Could be just a coincidence, but both Microsoft and Amazon started gapping down on the exact same days that Silver was getting crushed... and with no clear reason why tech sold off that hard.
Was Silver being shorted to take attention away from cracks in the tech sector?
Were there speculators in both tech and commodities who just woke up one morning and decided to sell everything?
Is a major market crash on the horizon and we're just feeling the first tremors?

Silver dipped again today, just below the 50-day moving average (on a daily chart).
There appears to be a reverse head and shoulders forming, which would signal a major move to the upside in the next week or two.
There's also the possibility that Silver continues to consolidate sideways at or near the 50-day; and there's potential downside risk with the 200-day moving average in the low 50's.
This bull-run is certainly not over; but it does appear to be clearing out a lot of the speculators who entered the market in late December and January.

Just got my 5 ounces at spot deal in from SD Bullion. They said it would be filled with whatever they had on hand, and may show signs of wear and aging. So I just figured it’d be some haggard looking prairie niggers. Was pleasantly surprised to find this bar in the package instead.
