🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Miryokubjon Shodiyev | Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2024

Meet Miryokubjon Shodiyev — a Fulbright TEA 2024 alumnus and the principal of School #23 in Navoiy city. In just one year in this role, he has led a team of 100 staff and over 1,000 students while introducing new ideas to improve teaching and learning.

Motivated by the U.S. education system and culture during his practicum at Chico High School in California, Miryokubjon has brought fresh energy to his school. He actively organizes subject and sports clubs, art competitions, and various student-led initiatives that encourage creativity and leadership.

He also works closely with local officials, regional governors, and education leaders, helping expand the reach of his experience and promote innovation across the region. For Miryokubjon, sharing knowledge and encouraging young minds is at the heart of everything he does.

💬 His advice to fellow alumni:
“Growth begins where your comfort zone ends. Embrace challenges, take risks, and allow discomfort to shape you into the person you are meant to become.”
