Test your wit with your friends with a team of up to eight - if you have a smaller team, other people will be able to sign up on the same slot to join you and boost your chances! Games are free as always with a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Good morning greenhorns! For those of you who are up with the call of the cockerel, Friday Registration opens at 9am! But don't worry if you need a little longer to rise, it'll stay open until 4pm. After that, you'll need to Register at Con Ops during their opening hours, but they'll be open until 10pm every day so even you night owls should have plenty of time to register.
But why sleep in when we've got so much going on? Our Opening Ceremony is at 1pm and it only gets more exciting from there! If you need something to do before that, our Scotiacon Barkade Saloon opens from 11am for you to get your gaming fix in early!

Hi y'all! We've heard reports from yesterday of people being charged additional deposits at check in for the Hilton Garden Inn. This was not part of our agreement and we've engaged with the venue to understand what was happening. The latest update is that no further deposits will be charged to anyone checking in today. We'll update with any further information as we have it but please let us know if you encounter any further issues. Thank for your patience while we've worked this out with the venue.

Hilton Garden Inn Check In - Update!
Heya everyone! Thanks for bearing with us while we've looked into things. Here's a fuller update.
It should have been explained to attendees checking in that the charges made were a credit to enable things to be charged to rooms. It is standard Hilton policy to charge this at £50 per night of stay.
However, this should have been changed to £50 per overall stay for us and is only required if anything is to be charged to rooms. It is NOT mandatory and can be declined if you do not intend to charge anything to your room.
If you have already paid, you can request a refund from the Hilton Reception desk. However, please note that their refund process only operates on weekdays - this means that if you request today or over the weekend it is likely the refund will only process on Monday. There is nothing that can be done to alter the system to change this, unfortunately. Unused charges will be refunded at the end of your stay automatically regardless.
We regret this unfortunate situation and the impact that it has had on some attendees, and we will continue to address this with the venue for future years.

Howdy friends! We didn't even tell you it was open yet but y'all were clearly waiting! Yes, the queue is having a bit of an issue on first deployment. The immediate fix is to bring yourself off the hotel WiFi and book your ticket, you can then rejoin hotel WiFi and the notifications will land normally.
Most people will be able to use the system and we strongly encourage you to do so, but if you are unable to use mobile data, we can issue you with a physical ticket - you can pick these up from Con Ops from 945am. You will then need to follow the channel t.me/scdenqueue to look for your ticket being called.
