त्रयोदशी तथा यमद्वितीया के दिन यमदेवता को दीपदान करने से अकालमृत्यु का भय दूर होता है । यमदीपदान करते समय यमदेवता को १३ दीपक अर्पण किए जाते हैं । १३ संख्या का शास्त्र, यमदीपदान का महत्त्व और उससे होनेवाले लाभ समझकर लेंगे ।

🌸 Narak chaturdashi (12.11.2023) 🌸

History and Method of celebrating the festival !

As per the story in Shrimadbhagvat-Puran – A powerful demon called Bhoumasur (Narakasur) was killed by Deity Shrikrushna on this day. While lying on his deathbed, Narakasur asked Shrikrushna for a boon, “On this tithi let the one who has a mangalsnan (auspicious bath) not suffer in hell.” Shrikrushna granted him this boon.

Method of celebrating -

1. Take sabhyang snan.
2. After sabhyang snan perform Yamatarpan.
3. At noon, offerings are made to Brahmans.
4. During Pradosh, lamps are offered.

🌸 नरकचतुर्दशी (१२.११.२०२३) 🌸

नरकचतुर्दशी पर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने नरकासुर का वध किया । तब से यह दिन नरकचतुर्दशी के नाम से मनाते हैं । भगवान श्रीकृष्ण द्वारा नरकासुर को उसके अंत समय दिए वर के अनुसार, इस दिन सूर्योदय से पूर्व जो अभ्यंगस्नान करता है, उसे नरक-यातना नहीं भुगतनी पडती । इसलिए इस तिथि पर अभ्यंगस्नान करने का बडा महत्त्व है । अभ्यंगस्नान अर्थात सुगंधित तेल एवं उबटन लगाकर किया गया स्नान । अभ्यंगस्नान के उपरांत एक और महत्त्वपूर्ण धार्मिक विधि किया जाता है, जिसे यमतर्पण कहा जाता है ।

१. व्यक्तिको सर्वप्रथम कुमकुमका तिलक लगाए ।

३. तेल एवं उबटन का लेप पूरे शरीर पर लगाए ।

If wealth goes into the hands of the undeserving, they become arrogant. Hence, ShriVishnu incarnated as Vaman and sent King Bali to the nether region.

जानिए बलिप्रतिपदा मनाने की पद्धति !

कार्तिक शुक्ल प्रतिपदा, बलिप्रतिपदा के रूप में मनाई जाती है । जब भगवान श्री विष्णु ने वामनदेव का अवतार लेकर बलिराजा को पाताल में भेजते समय वर मांगने के लिए कहा, उस समय बलि राजा ने वर्ष में तीन दिन पृथ्वी पर बलि राज्य होने का वर मांगा । वे तीन दिन हैं - नरक चतुर्दशी, दीपावली की अमावस्या और बलिप्रतिपदा ।

🌸 भैय्यादूज (15.11.2023) 🌸

एक-दूसरे के प्रति कृतज्ञता भाव जागृत होने हेतु मनाया जानेवाला त्योहार !

पृथ्वी यमकी बहनका रूप है । इस दिन यमतरंगें पृथ्वीकी कक्षामें आती हैं । इसलिए पृथ्वीकी कक्षामें यमतरंगोंके प्रवेशके संबंधमें कहते हैं कि, कार्तिक शुक्ल द्वितीयाकी तिथिपर यम अपने घरसे बहनके घर अर्थात पृथ्वीरूपी भूलोकमें प्रवेश करते हैं । इसलिए इस दिनको यम– द्वितीयाके नामसे जानते हैं । बहनद्वारा यमदेवताका सम्मान करनेके प्रतीक स्वरूप यह दिन `भैय्यादूज‘के नामसे भी प्रचलित है । इस दिन स्त्रीमें देवीतत्त्व जागृत रहता है । इसका लाभ भाईको उसके भावानुसार मिलता है । यमद्वितीयाकी तिथिपर बहन अपने भाईके कल्याणके लिए प्रार्थना करती है । इसका फल भाईको बहनके भावानुसार प्राप्त होता है । इसलिए बहनका भाईके साथ लेन-देन अंशतः घट जाता है । इसलिए यह दिन एक अर्थसे लेन-देन घटानेके लिए होता है ।

छठ पर्व (सूर्य षष्ठी) किस प्रकार मनाते हैं ? (१९.११.२०२३) 🌞

यह पर्व चार दिनोंका है । भैयादूजके तीसरे दिनसे यह आरंभ होता है । पहले दिन सैंधा नमक, घी से बना हुआ अरवा चावल और कद्दूकी सब्जी प्रसादके रूपमें ली जाती है । अगले दिनसे उपवास आरंभ होता है । इस दिन रातमें खीर बनती है । व्रतधारी रातमें यह प्रसाद लेते हैं । तीसरे दिन डूबते हुए सूर्यको अर्घ्य यानी दूध अर्पण करते हैं । अंतिम दिन उगते हुए सूर्यको अर्घ्य चढ़ाते हैं । इस पूजामें पवित्रताका ध्यान रखा जाता है; लहसून, प्याज वर्ज्य है । जिन घरोंमें यह पूजा होती है, वहां भक्तिगीत गाए जाते हैं ।

गोपाष्टमी – गो पूजन का एक पवित्र दिन (२०.११.२०२३)

हिन्दू संस्कृति में गाय का विशेष स्थान हैं। माँ का दर्जा दिया जाता हैं क्यूंकि जैसे एक माँ का ह्रदय कोमल होता हैं, वैसा ही गाय माता का होता हैं। जैसे एक माँ अपने बच्चो को हर स्थिती में सुख देती हैं, वैसे ही गाय भी मनुष्य जाति को लाभ प्रदान करती हैं। शास्त्रों में गोपाष्टमी पर्व पर गायों की विशेष पूजा करने का विधान निर्मित किया गया है। कार्तिक शुक्ल पक्ष, प्रतिपदा से सप्तमी तक गो-गोप-गोपियों की रक्षा के लिए गोवर्धन पर्वत को धारण किया था। इसी समय से अष्टमी को गोपाष्टमी का पर्व मनाया जाने लगा, जो कि अब तक चला आ रहा है। गाय की पूजन का पवित्र दिन है गोपाष्टमी। कार्तिक शुक्ल पक्ष अष्टमी को गोपाष्टमी के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

वास्तुशुद्धि की सरल पद्धतियां

वास्तु (घर) अथवा वाहन के अनुचित और कष्टदायक स्पंदन (वाइब्रेशन्स) दूर कर, उसमें अच्छे स्पंदन उत्पन्न करने की क्रिया को शुद्धि करना कहते हैं । वास्तु में कोई दोष न रह जाए, इसके लिए आजकल के वास्तुनिर्माण व्यवसायी (बिल्डर) एवं ग्राहक वास्तुशास्त्र का गंभीरता से विचार कर रहे हैं । परंतु, इस क्षेत्र में भी भ्रष्ट लोग प्रवेश कर चुके हैं । इसलिए, वास्तुशुद्धि के लिए अनावश्यक महंगी पूजा, वास्तु रचना में परिवर्तन आदि करना पडता है । ऐसा न करना पडे, इसके लिए, वास्तुदोष के दुष्परिणामों के कुछ उदाहरण और उन्हें दूर करने के लिए प्रचलित महंगी पद्धतियों की अपेक्षा सस्ती एवं सरल पद्धतियां आगे बताई जा रही हैं ।

🌿 तुलसी विवाह (आरंभ २४.११.२०२३) 🌿

इस दिनसे शुभ दिवसका, अर्थात मुहूर्तके दिनोंका आरंभ होता है । ऐसा माना जाता है कि, ‘यह विवाह भारतीय संस्कृतिका आदर्श दर्शानेवाला विवाह है ।’ इस दिन पृथ्वीपर अधिक मात्रामें श्रीकृष्णतत्त्व कार्यरत रहता है । तुलसीके पौधे से भी अधिक मात्रामें श्रीकृष्णतत्त्व कार्यरत होता है । इसलिए इस दिन श्रीकृष्णका नामजप करनेसे अधिक लाभ होता है । पूजा होनेके उपरांत वातावरण अत्यंत सात्त्विक हो जाता है । उस समय भी श्रीकृष्णका नामजप कीजिए ।

वैकुंठ चतुर्दशी के दिन शिवजी को तुलसी तथा श्रीविष्णु को बेल समर्पित करने की पद्धति है ।  विष्णु एवं शिव एक ही परमात्मा के कार्य के अनुरूप प्रकट २ रूप हैं । शास्त्र ने इस मतभिन्नता को दूर कर विष्णुशिवात्मक एकता को दर्शाने हेतु उपर्युक्त योजना बनाई है । अनेक लोग वैकुंठ चतुर्दशी के दिन व्रत रखते हैं । वैकुंठ बाती लगाते हैं और रात में हरिहर भेंट का आनंद उठाते हैं ।

🪔 Tripurari Poornima (Kartik Poornima - 26.11.2023) 🪔

This festival is celebrated on the day of Kartik Poornima, since Deity Shiva annihilated the demon Tripurasura on this day. It is a festival of Deities. It is celebrated as a victory of good over evil in temples at many places in India. Tripurari – > Tripur + ari. Tripur is the name of the demon. Ari in Sanskrit means to kill or annihilate. Hence, Kartik Shukla Paksha Poornima came to be called as Tripurari Poornima, that is the day when the demon Tripur was annihilated. All the Deities were overjoyed to regain their lost glory. They celebrated by praising Deity Shiva and lighting oil lamps (Deepotsav).
