Orion
Orion is the winter-king
Among heaven's bright designs. His up is down: his height is set In Hell, and yet he shines.
Those stars of night the fiend drew down, That followed in his train,
At midnight stand above the town: They glitter in their
pain.
My foolstar hero, stretched at length, The sky's pins through his head, Basks at those fires his dreary strength That's slanted to the dead.
Come, darkness, fill my heart and eyes: I'll sink below the light,
And, buried with Orion, rise To winter and to night.
