In the Yogic culture, being in sync with the natural rhythms of the planet is very important. Yogis want to wake up before the birds to imbibe the first rays of the sun and make the most of the day. However, it is not ideal to wake the body with the shock of an alarm clock or if it has not had enough rest.

It’s not always easy and it can be a struggle at times. Here are some simple and gentle ways to wake up early, easily:

○ Have a light dinner.
○ Get enough physical activity during the day.
○ Have a cool or lukewarm shower before bed.

If these small things are managed, the body will be well-rested, and it will wake up early naturally and effortlessly.
