It is a space which has been specially prepared for this particular sound. When we utter the word “Shiva,” it is the freedom of the uncreated, the liberation of one who is not created. It is almost like on this planet, the sound “Shiva” emanates from this place. For thousands of years, people have experienced that space as a reverberation of that sound.

This is also a place that has witnessed thousands of Yogis and mystics of every kind. When I say every kind, you cannot imagine those kinds. These are people who made no attempt to teach anything to anyone. Their way of making an offering to the world was by leaving their energies, their path, their work – everything – in a certain way in these spaces.

#Throwback to the beginning of Sadhguru's Rally for Rivers & Cauvery Calling journeys - 3 September 2017 & 2019

Rally for Rivers (RfR) is a movement to save India's lifelines its rivers. Aiming to revitalize India's rapidly depleting rivers, the campaign garnered the support of over 162 million people and was instrumental in the formulation of India's national policy for river revitalization. It is also the model for the Indian Government's Rs. 19,338 crore (approx. USD 2.5 billion) 5-year plan to rejuvenate 13 major rivers.

Cauvery Calling - the world's largest farmer-driven ecological movement - is a first of its kind initiative, providing a demonstrable model for how rivers across the tropical world can be revitalized. Its aim is to enable 5.2 million farmers to plant 2.42 billion trees in the Cauvery River Basin to revitalize Cauvery River and transform the lives of 84 million people.
So far, Cauvery Calling has supported over 218,000 farmers and enabled the plantation of 111 million living trees. In the year 2023-24, the project enabled over 40,000 farmers to plant 20 million living trees, conducted 32,332 on-farm consultations and reached out to 163,695 farmers in the Cauvery basin.
