We be on receiving end.. with or without biological children . Make plan... Can't assume the next will take you in..
As medic.. we already see the harsh reality of elders living alone when their child/children unable/unwilling to care for them incl urbanisation, emigration, etc

I wish to acknowledge the goodwill within KKM esp BPP in masterplan for services.
In principle of equity. The development n expansion of services according to Needs. Esp unmet needs across the country.. not all disease are equal.. burden varies. And important we strategically do so...
I hope we can continue to assure the Rakyat (majority. Esp B40-M40 even T20) that they are able to receive treatment and care for their needs whether they are in Klang or Kelantan, Miri or Tawau..
That when we have heart problem we able to to be attended by ETD at emergency, physicians and Cardiologists in hospitals, FMS in community, rehab if necessary and even palliative physicians should that be needed in end of life ....
We are at a cross road. Never too late to address the inequity and deficit ..
Appreciate the continual support...
P.s. Dato asri.thank you for highlighting KKM need to PMX...

Every festival has a Value... beyond the celebration of holiday, time out, food, family, friends...
For Eid al-Adha.. the value is Sacrifice..
What doctoring in Sabah taught me about .... resilience mindset, gratitude, grace
...suffering, sickness, scars decorate our Life when we lessen them for others ..

Malaysia is critical short of cardiologists.. and the need to review the training system... need to train more, train earlier, and retain...
