If we burn, you burn with us.
When it is no longer just humans who lament the greed of the state, but all living beings crying out, it reveals how cruel the government has become. Our voices are being silenced, while merely breathing; both literally and figuratively, has become unbearable for us. Our wealth is extorted, our homes are seized by force, our habitats are massacred.
As conscious human beings, we cannot turn a blind eye to these atrocities, and we will continue to defend ourselves; for the environment, for all living creatures, and for the right to live decently as humans. We, the people of Indonesia, deeply lament how our rights are becoming harder to attain day by day. This is not merely an expression of anger, but a warning to a state that remains indifferent to our cries.
Therefore, if the government chooses for us to suffer, then it shall perish with us. We will not stand idly by and watch our future shatter into fragments of nightmares, pieced together by the government's irresponsibility in the face of crises endured by its people and all living beings; all for the sake of a heart dulled by personal gain.
FOR THE FOREST, THE ANIMALS, AND THE PEOPLE. LONG LIVE THE RESISTANCE!
