1. Ash Wednesday
Lent will commence on Ash Wednesday, February 14. There will be two Masses in Cantonese at 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. and one Mass in English at 3 p.m. with the distribution of ashes.

As this year Ash Wednesday, falls within the festivities of Lunar New Year, faithful are dispensed from fast and abstinence on that day in accordance with the practice of our Diocese. Faithful, however, are still obliged to choose for themselves some other suitable forms of penance or acts of charity.

2. Stations of the Cross
During Lent faithful are obliged to pray more and to perform more acts of penance and charity.
We will pray the Stations of the Cross on every Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and on every Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Church. All are welcome.

3. Special arrangement during Chinese New Year

 The Church will be closed as follows:
10th Feb. Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
11th Feb. Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
12th Feb. Monday at 1:00 p.m.
13th Feb. Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.

 The Chapel will be opened as follows:
10th Feb. Saturday – from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
11th Feb. Sunday – from 8:00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
12th Feb. Monday – from 8:00 a.m. to 12.00 noon
13th Feb. Tuesday – from 8:00 a.m. to 12.00 noon

4. Second collection(next Sunday)
On February 18, next Sunday, a second collection in support of the apostolates and formation programs of the Hong Kong Central Council of Catholic Laity is to be taken up at all public Masses. Please give your generous support.

Today, February 17, there will be overnight Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel. All are welcome.

Today, a second collection in support of the apostolates and formation programs of the Hong Kong Central Council of Catholic Laity is to be taken up at all public Masses. Please give your generous support.

- Holy Thursday, March 28
Adoration of the Holy Eucharist: 9:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.

- Good Friday, March 29
i) Way of the Cross: 10:30 a.m.
ii) Liturgy of the Lord’s passion: 3:00 p.m.
(Fast and abstinence are to be observed.)

The offerings on Good Friday will be destined for the support of our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land and the numerous services and projects sponsored by the Church there.

Easter Vigil Mass: 6:30 p.m. in the school hall followed by light refreshments.

-Easter Sunday, March 31
Mass schedule as on Sundays.
Easter celebration: 2:00 p.m. in the school basketball court. All are welcome.

Easter celebration will take place today in the school basketball court at 2:00 p.m.

1. Fund-raising for Hospital Pastoral Care Service
Today, a second collection in support of the hospital pastoral care services of the Diocese is to be taken up at all public Masses. Please give your generous support.

2. Divine Mercy Sunday

4. Prison Evangelism and The Donation of Biblical Readings “Year of Matthew" - Let the prisoners not be forgotten!”
This Sunday, “Walk In Love”, a small group of lay Catholics, will be promoting the “Year of Matthew - Sunday Reflection” outside the Mass Centre to collect donations for prison evangelisation and the support of the prison ministry. Thank you for your generous support.

(The mission of this small group is to evangelise prisoners by making regular visits to prisons and bring the Word of God to our brothers and sisters in prison. With the Gospel and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, lead them and guide them to change their perspective on life, help them to understand their responsibility and mission.)

The 61st World Day of Prayer for Vocations will be celebrated on next Sunday, April 21. The theme for this year is: “Called to sow seeds of hope and to build peace”.
On that day, a second collection in support of the diocesan Holy Spirit Seminary is to be taken up at all public Masses.

2. Hospital pastoral care service of the Diocese
The amount collected last Sunday is HK$29,983. Thank you for your generous support.

3. The Chapel
The Chapel will be closed on April 25, Thursday, for inspection and maintenance of the air-conditioning system.

4. Parish Pilgrimage

5. Eucharistic Adoration Ministry – invitation to join as Adorer
The principle of the ministry is to perpetually adore Christ and to ensure that Christ is never left alone in our Eucharistic Adoration chapel. If you are interested to commit one hour per day or per week to accompany Christ in the chapel, please visit the parish website for details.

1. Attention please
Please note that on May 11 and 12 (next Saturday and Sunday), due to the replacement of the School’s front gate (near the security post), all pedestrians and vehicles can only use the School’s back gate.

2. World day of Social Communications
The 58th World Day of Social Communications will be celebrated on the Solemnity of the Ascension, May 12 (next Sunday). The main theme is “Artificial Intelligence and the Wisdom of the Heart: Towards a Fully Human Communication”.
In accordance with the usual practice, a second collection for the promotion of the media apostolate in our diocese is to be taken up at all public Masses. Please give your generous support.

3. Infant Baptism
Infant baptism will be held on June 9 (Sunday) at 2:00 p.m. Parents who wish to have their infants baptized on that day should obtain an application form from the Parish Office, complete and return it with all necessary documents before May 26.

4. 2024-2025 Car park labels
Parishioners who need to park their cars on Sundays to attend Mass, can now apply for new car park labels in the Parish Office at **HK$500.00 each. The new labels will be effective on June 1, 2024. Payment is to be made upon application. Please return the old labels with your payment.
** (The amount collected from the parking labels will be forwarded to the School for the repair and maintenance of the parking area.)

5. Mother's Day Gift Sale
There will be a Mother's Day Gift Bazaar at the Religious article corner tomorrow/today, selling strings and rosaries handmade by the SSVM sisters, the proceeds of which will be used to support the missionary work of the Sisters.
