1. Second collection
Today we celebrate the 61st World Day of Prayer for Vocations. The theme for this year is: “Called to sow seeds of hope and to build peace”. A second collection in support of the diocesan Holy Spirit Seminary is to be taken up at all public Masses. Please give your generous support.

2. The Chapel
The Chapel will be closed on April 25, Thursday, for inspection and maintenance of the air-conditioning system.

3. Parish Pilgrimage
The English community will hold the pilgrimage on May 1. The 2 Churches to be visited are Saint Theresa in Prince Edward and Saint Lawrence in Kowloon. Those who are interested to join in, please register at the patio or at the AP corner. Thank you!

4. Sunday School Water War Day
Please note that on May 5, Sunday, the basketball court of Yuen Long Catholic Secondary School will be closed for the preparation of Sunday School Water War Day. Parking space will not be available.

5. Donations
- The amount collected on Good Friday for the Holy Land is HK$36,226.

- The offerings for the Catholic Church Lenten Campaign amounted to HK$77,145.00.

1. Parish Pilgrimage

2. Special arrangement during Public holiday
May 1, Labour Day and May 15, The Birthday of the Buddha.
- The Chapel will be closed at 12.00 noon.
- The Church will be closed at 1:00 p.m.

3. Sunday School Water War Day

1. Attention please
Please note that on May 11 and 12 (next Saturday and Sunday), due to the replacement of the School’s front gate (near the security post), all pedestrians and vehicles can only use the School’s back gate.

2. World day of Social Communications
The 58th World Day of Social Communications will be celebrated on the Solemnity of the Ascension, May 12 (next Sunday). The main theme is “Artificial Intelligence and the Wisdom of the Heart: Towards a Fully Human Communication”.
In accordance with the usual practice, a second collection for the promotion of the media apostolate in our diocese is to be taken up at all public Masses. Please give your generous support.

3. Infant Baptism
Infant baptism will be held on June 9 (Sunday) at 2:00 p.m. Parents who wish to have their infants baptized on that day should obtain an application form from the Parish Office, complete and return it with all necessary documents before May 26.

4. 2024-2025 Car park labels
Parishioners who need to park their cars on Sundays to attend Mass, can now apply for new car park labels in the Parish Office at **HK$500.00 each. The new labels will be effective on June 1, 2024. Payment is to be made upon application. Please return the old labels with your payment.

5. Mother's Day Gift Sale
There will be a Mother's Day Gift Bazaar at the Religious article corner tomorrow/today, selling strings and rosaries handmade by the SSVM sisters, the proceeds of which will be used to support the missionary work of the Sisters.

The amount collected on last Sunday amounted to $25,058.-. Thank you for your generous support.

2. Procession of the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The procession will take place on May 26, Next Sunday, at 5:00 p.m. Please gather at the basketball court at 4:30 p.m. All are welcome.

3. June 2, Solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
Around 12 noon, the priest will make a procession of the Holy Eucharist. All are welcome.

4. Infant Baptism

1. Solemnity of The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
The procession will take place (tomorrow/today) at around 12 noon. Parishioners please gather on the patio after the 11:00 a.m. Mass.
During the 12:30 p.m. Mass, twelve Sunday School children will receive their first Holy Communion. All are invited to attend and pray for them.

2. Electrical Periodic Inspection Testing and Certificate (PITC)
Inspection and testing of the electricity system of our Parish will take place from June 4 to June 7 (Tuesday to Friday) and will cause temporary suspension of electricity supply in the Parish.

Please note that the Eucharistic Adoration in the Chapel will be suspended during this period.

3. Special arrangement during Public holiday
June 10, Tuen Ng Festival.
- The Chapel will be closed at 12.00 noon.
- The Church will be closed at 1:00 p.m.

4. Car park labels
This year’s parking permit has already started in June 1 until May 31, 2025. Parishioners who have not yet applied for the new permit, please do so as soon as possible. Please collect applied labels at the Parish Office at your earliest convenience.

Permit holders must take note of the following:
1. Put the parking permit on the windscreen for checking by security/school personnel.
2. Drive away immediately after Mass or after special activities.
3. A new permit has to be applied and paid for in case of loss or change of vehicle license plate.

The parking place is the playground of Yuen Long Catholic Secondary School. Therefore, within the perimeter of the school, please park your vehicle according to the instruction of the security/school personnel. Please keep the place safe and clean.

1. Special Collection for The Apostolic See
On last Sunday, the amount collected for The Apostolic See is HK$35,605. Thank you for your generous support.

2. Coordinating Meeting
The English Coordinating Committee will meet on Sunday July 14 at 2:00pm in Room 109.

3. Donation for St. Joseph’s Home for the Aged
Sisters from Little Sisters of the poor will come to our Parish next Sunday to appeal for donation for Home for the aged in Sheung Shui. Please give your generous support.

4. Infant Baptism
Infant baptism will be held on August 11 (Sunday) at 2:00 p.m. Parents who wish to have their infants baptized on that day should obtain an application form from the Parish Office, complete and return it with all necessary documents before July 21.

5.Permanent Deacon
Rev. Deacon Francis MOK was ordained by Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J. on June 29, 2024。 Effective July 20, Rev. Deacon Mok will assist in the pastoral services of our Parish.
