SPO Calls have been intentionally ephemeral for years. But after several requests from respected SPOs and encouragement from regular contributors, I decided to break tradition and experiment with improving their availability to node operators. Since the ITN, Cardano has been validated by real people running real infrastructure, and Leios will work the same way. We need SPOs running it, testing its capacities, and sharing what they find. The Rewards Program pays SPOs to kick start the cycle on MusashiNet, preparing the ground for mainnet.
What we reward: participation and reporting, not a performance target. Run a pool on MusashiNet and share the operational data it produces (forging, voting and diffusion logs). It's especially interesting when things go wrong or underperform.
The essentials:
🔹 Up to 100 pools can participate: up to 3 pools per operator, without sharing relays.
🔹 The faucet delegates 1M test ada to your pool, enough to forge in every epoch
🔹 Rewards are paid to a Cardano mainnet address you choose
🔹 Participating pools are asked to shared some data from their pools: Logs, machine specs, location.

This version contains continued groundwork for an upcoming Dijkstra-era hard fork, along with other improvements:
🔹 Performance: more efficient transaction forwarding between peers, mempool snapshots that stay fast as the mempool grows, and quicker Plutus script validation.

🔹 Cardano mainnet remains operational as usual, with no disruption to normal network activity.
🔹 Stake Pool Operators are asked to treat this as a priority upgrade and move to Cardano node 11.1.2 as soon as practically possible.
🔹 Other organizations and services running Cardano node infrastructure are also encouraged to upgrade promptly where applicable.
