How it works:

a. Club exco/ club members may request to open the rooms by calling campus security at 68280343 and informing the room number and that they’re there for the Study Week initiative. If there are any issues contact Ashley @rainingtacoz.

b. Please strictly adhere to your clubs’ designated slots, especially if there is another club allocated to use the room after your club/the timeslot after is greyed out. Empty slots are free for all to use.

c. Please keep the rooms clean and adhere to the standard room usage guidelines of SMU rooms after use for the next club/ user of the room

👋 Calling all SMU students! Want to represent your alma mater and lead your juniors to victory? 🏆

The inaugural SMU Sports Open: Tug-of-War Pre-U Challenge 2026 is happening during SMU Open House, and they are looking for alumni like YOU to join the team as mentors/seniors!

Here’s the deal:

The Prize: Your team could win up to $2,000 in CapitaLand E-vouchers + Medals!

The Team: You need a squad of 8 participants (max weight 640kg). You can grab 6 juniors from your old school and join them as one of the 2 allowed SMU alumni/graduates.

The Catch: Every team must have at least 2 females, and each pull (4 vs 4) must include at least 1 female.

Date: Saturday, 28 February 2026
Time: 11.00 am – 6.00 pm
Venue: SMU Campus Green
Registration: FREE! (Closes 6 Feb 2026, 2359hr)

SMU will even provide a 2-hour pre-event clinic (between Feb 11–25) to teach you the ropes and safety rules before the big day.
