In recognition of Mental Health Awareness, SCOPE EMSA Bahirdar, in collaboration with the Girlsβ Affairs Office at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (Poly Campus), hosted an impactful mental health session.
The session was led by Dr. Abraham Bogale, who delivered an insightful talk on stress, suicide, and other mental health challenges, fostering awareness and open discussion among students.
Additionally Helina Getu and Dr. Etsub Sentayehu also gave brief yet meaningful introductions on depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, while the event included awareness on HIV and female-related issues.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Abraham Bogale for his time and dedication, and to the Girlsβ Affairs Office for their collaboration in making this session possible.
Mental health awareness goes beyond a single session. Itβs a lasting commitment to empathy and education.
Heartfelt appreciation to our volunteers, partners, and all participants who made this event a success.
