πŸ’³ EMSA Bahir Dar ID Card Update

Hello everyone! πŸ‘‹
This is our official EMSA Bahir Dar ID card format for this term β€” both front and back pages that will soon be printed.

Every medical student can get theirs by registering through the membership form (paper or soft copy) that will be distributed in each class. πŸ“

Your EMSA Bahir Dar ID card is more than just identification β€” it’s your official recognition and gateway to opportunities within the association. It allows you to:
βœ… Receive certificates for participation and achievements
βœ… Join trainings, workshops, and awareness campaigns
βœ… Get priority access to EMSA and IFMSA local & national events
βœ… Represent EMSA Bahir Dar in official programs, collaborations, and exchanges
βœ… Access exclusive member opportunities β€” leadership roles, volunteering, and international exchange programs
βœ… Request official support or recommendation letters from the association
βœ… Show active membership when applying for scholarships, internships, or conferences
βœ… Strengthen your professional profile and networking with other medical students across Ethiopia and worldwide
βœ… Gain recognition in EMSA Ethiopia and IFMSA as part of a global network of future healthcare leaders 🌍
βœ… etc.....
Carry your ID proudly β€” it represents your commitment, engagement, and pride as part of a global medical student community striving for health, leadership, and impact.

One Team, One Identity, One EMSA Bahir Dar β€” More Than a Student! πŸ’ͺ
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness, SCOPE EMSA Bahirdar, in collaboration with the Girls’ Affairs Office at Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (Poly Campus), hosted an impactful mental health session.

The session was led by Dr. Abraham Bogale, who delivered an insightful talk on stress, suicide, and other mental health challenges, fostering awareness and open discussion among students.

Additionally Helina Getu and Dr. Etsub Sentayehu also gave brief yet meaningful introductions on depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders, while the event included awareness on HIV and female-related issues.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Abraham Bogale for his time and dedication, and to the Girls’ Affairs Office for their collaboration in making this session possible.

Mental health awareness goes beyond a single session. It’s a lasting commitment to empathy and education.

Heartfelt appreciation to our volunteers, partners, and all participants who made this event a success.
