Today's data just made a Fed rate hike scenario almost impossible. ADP reported 90,000 private jobs added in September, beating the 73,000 estimate. August was revised down to 36,000. Core PCE rose 0.2% in August, below the 0.3% estimate. Yearly core inflation held at 3.0%, also below forecast.The government also changed how it measures three PCE categories, investment advisory fees, software, and legal services, and revised data back to 2021.
