🎉 On May 8, the Russian Embassy in Kuwait hosted a festive reception dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war. Among participants were ambassadors and senior officials of diplomatic missions of the CIS countries, representatives of the Kuwaiti establishment, civil society, business circles and media outlets as well as friendly diplomatic missions, our compatriots and graduates Russian universities.

▫️Ambassador of Russia to Kuwait H.E. Mr. Vladimir Zheltov addressed participants with a speech on behalf of heads of the CIS diplomatic missions (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan). The decisive contribution of the Soviet people to the victory over fascism was emphasized. Special tribute was paid to their sacrifice for the sake of future generations.

▫️The joint reception was held in an emphatically warm, friendly atmosphere. A live performance of the wartime music classics made the Victory Day event truly special and memorable.
