Его подготовили ученики и преподаватели общеобразовательной школы при дипмиссии, переложившие на современный лад нетленную андерсоновскую классику – сказку «Снежная королева». Постановка была тепло принята благодарной аудиторией, горячо поддерживавшей творчество маленьких актеров.     
С поздравлениями к коллективу дипмиссии и соотечественникам обратился Посол России в Кувейте В.Ф.Желтов.
 
🎄On December 26, 2024 the traditional theatrical celebration of the New Year was held at the Embassy of Russia in Kuwait. It was prepared by students and teachers of the Embassy’s school who staged a modern adaptation of the all-time classic – Andersen’s “Snow Queen” fairytale. The performance found great success among the audience which heartily supported the young actors.
Ambassador of Russia in Kuwait H.E. Mr. Vladimir Zheltov addressed the Embassy staff and compatriots with a holiday greetings speech.

🎄7 января сотрудники Посольства с членами семей вместе с нашими соотечественниками в Кувейте приняли участие в торжественном рождественском богослужении. По установившейся традиции оно прошло на «площадке» Кувейтской епархии сестринской Антиохийской церкви по канонам Русской православной церкви. Праздничную службу на церковнославянском языке совершил окормляющий Кувейт настоятель храма апостола Филиппа в Шардже (ОАЭ) архимандрит Александр (Заркешев).

Состоявшееся в теплой и располагающей атмосфере богослужение продемонстрировало духовное единение наших православных граждан, находящихся вдали от Родины. Проникновенно обратился к верующим архимандрит Александр, которого прихожане в свою очередь совместно поздравили с прошедшим юбилеем – 60-летием.

 
🎄On January 7, the Embassy staff and their family members, together with our compatriots in Kuwait, took part in the festive Christmas service. As per the established tradition, it was held on the premises of the sisterly Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Kuwait in accordance with the Russian Orthodox Church canons. The service was held in the Church Slavonic language by Archimandrite Alexander (Zarkeshev), rector of the church of St. Philip the Apostle (Sharjah, UAE), who also ministers to the Russian Orthodox parish in Kuwait.

The service was held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and demonstrated the spiritual unity of our Orthodox citizens far away from their homeland. Archimandrite Alexander addressed the faithful with a heartfelt sermon. The parish for its part congratulated him on his recent 60th birthday anniversary.

National identity and political choice on the example of Russia and China

✍️ The people of Russia and China are united by the bonds of friendship and neighbourliness based on deep historical traditions. In 2024, we marked 75 years of our diplomatic relations and the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. Despite the fundamental shifts underway in the world due to the rise of a multipolar world, some factors have not changed for decades. Russia and China remain responsible for the present and future of humanity. We will continue working together to implement this challenging mission, settling the problems we inherited from the past, which I would like to dwell on in greater detail.

Key points:

• The Western civilisation has always tried to impose its will on external players throughout its history. Its most effective method was not inflicting a direct military defeat on them, which Europe could seldom accomplish due to the permanent shortage of material and human resources. It employed a much simpler strategy of destroying the existing power structures from within and by proxy. The Western world tried to prevent people from joining forces to repel the enemy, and to incite rivalry and dissent among them. <...> The ultimate form of such policy is the divide et impera – divide and rule – principle.

• The current-day Anglo-Saxon powers have long devised and implemented strategies to encourage separatism for all those who oppose their aggressive meddling in the internal affairs of states worldwide.

• Western forces are acting against us according to the same hypocritical principle of “divide et impera.” Their establishments and Ukrainian ideologues are persistently attempting to apply the Taiwanese, Hong Kong, and other experiences (including Manchukuo) in Ukraine. Their aim is to demonstrate that Russians and Ukrainians are as disparate as possible, to sever Ukraine from Russia, to sow discord, and to create ethnic divisions.

• Russians and Ukrainians are one people. Historical attempts to drive a wedge between us are utterly unfounded and criminal. All those Vygovskys, Mazepas, Skoropadskys, and Banderas, throughout different eras, found themselves dashed against the pan-Russian wall. It will be no different now.

• In addition to the unfettered supply of arms to Taiwan, there is a deliberate tendency to turn a blind eye to the efforts of the Taiwanese administration to “de-Sinicise” and “Taiwanise” the island. This is achieved through the implementation of policies aimed at fostering the so-called Taiwanese identity or Taiwanese consciousness – encouraging the self-identification of its inhabitants as “some kind of Taiwanese detached from their roots” and not Chinese.

• The classical principle of Western 'civilisers', “divide et impera,” inflicts untold suffering and hardship across the globe, serving as a source of numerous ethnic and socio-cultural conflicts, as well as pervasive economic inequality. This was true in the past, and it remains so today.

В августе 2024 года Специальный комитет по разработке всеобъемлющей международной конвенции о противодействии использованию информационно-коммуникационных технологий в преступных целях одобрил и представил для принятия Генеральной Ассамблее проект Конвенции ООН против киберпреступности; укрепление международного сотрудничества в борьбе с определенными преступлениями, совершаемыми с использованием информационно-коммуникационных систем, и в обмене доказательствами в электронной форме, относящимися к серьезным преступлениям. Работа над договором велась в течение четырех лет, сессии Спецкомитета и консультации в межсессионные периоды проводились в штаб-квартирах ООН в Нью-Йорке и Вене.

المرحلة التاريخية الحديثة هي عصر المواجهة بين من يتمسكون بمبادئ القانون الدولي، التي صيغت في الوثيقة القانونية الدولية الأكثر أهمية وهي ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وبين من لا يرضيهم هذا الميثاق وقرروا بعد نهاية الحرب الباردة أنه من الممكن أن يسترشدوا ليس بميثاق الأمم المتحدة، ولكن بتلك الرغبات التي ظهرت داخل ما يسمى «الغرب السياسي» ويعارضون نحو التعددية القطبية.

اضطررنا إلى صد الحرب التي بدأها ضدنا "الغرب الجماعي" بهدف رئيسي يتمثل في قمع منافس آخر، وهو روسيا التي تحولت مرة أخرى إلى منافس على الساحة الدولية. إن هدفهم الرئيسي هو إضعاف روسيا على الساحة الجيوسياسية، وذلك من خلال خلق تهديدات عسكرية مباشرة لروسيا الاتحادية على حدودها وأراضيها في محاولة تخفيض إمكاناتنا الاستراتيجية.

لقد بدأت بالفعل المقاومة للإملاءات الغربية في شكل نشوء اقتصادات جديدة متنامية، ومراكز مالية في الصين، والهند، ورابطة دول جنوب شرق آسيا، والعالم العربي، ومجموعة دول أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، وروسيا مع حلفائها في الاتحاد الاقتصادي الأوراسي، ورابطة الدول المستقلة، ومنظمة معاهدة الأمن الجماعي, ومنظمة شنغهاي للتعاون، و#بريكس.

إن الارتباط الروسي الصيني هو أحد عوامل الاستقرار الرئيسية في الحياة الدولية اليوم والعمليات التي بدأت بما في ذلك لغرض تصعيد المواجهة والعداء في الشؤون الدولية، وهو ما يفعله جيراننا في الناتو تحت قيادة الولايات المتحدة، التي تريد دائمًا زرع العداوة الفتنة، سواء في أوروبا أو في مضيق تايوان، أو في الشرق الأوسط، أو في أفريقيا. وان خططهم البسيطة مرئية في كل مكان.

إن الهياكل التي انشئت على أساس الشراكة الروسية الصينية هي بالتأكيد نوع جديد من الارتباط، حيث لا يوجد قادة وأتباع. ويشمل ذلك منظمة شنغهاي للتعاون والاتحاد الاقتصادي الأوراسي، الذي ينسق خططه التكاملية مع مشروع "الحزام والطريق" الصيني، وكذلك مجموعة بريكس، التي أصبحت أقوى بعد القمة في قازان.

لا نريد أن نعمل ضد أي أحد، بل نريد من كافة الدول أن تمارس أعمالها على أساس احترام مصالح جميع شركائها. وهذا هو الموقف المشترك بين موسكو وبكين.

عندما يحدد الرئيس ترامب، بعد أن أصبح رئيسًا، موقفه بشأن القضايا الأوكرانية، بالطبع سنقوم بدراسته. ما يقال الآن يجري تحضيراً للتنصيب. إن حقيقة أنهم بدأوا في ذكر الحقائق «على الأرض» تستحق الترحيب.

В рамках российско-кувейтского политического диалога 26-27 января 2025 г. Эль-Кувейт посетил директор Департамента Ближнего Востока и Северной Африки МИД России А.А.Кинщак. В ходе состоявшихся контактов российский представитель встретился с Первым заместителем Министра иностранных дел Кувейта шейхом Дж.Ас-Сабахом, провел консультации с руководителями соответствующих направлений внешнеполитического ведомства. В ходе взаимоуважительного заинтересованного разговора была предметно обсуждена повестка двусторонних российско-кувейтских отношений, рассмотрены актуальные региональные проблемы в контексте динамично меняющейся ближневосточной и международной ситуации.

Within the framework of the Russian-Kuwaiti political dialogue Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Russian MFA H.E. Mr. Alexander Kinshchak visited Kuwait on January 26-27, 2025. The Russian representative met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait H.E. Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah, held consultations with high-ranking MFA officials in charge of relevant files. The dialogue was characterized by mutually respectful atmosphere and focused on bilateral Russian-Kuwaiti relations as well as pressing regional issues in the context of the dynamically evolving situation in the Middle East and on the global arena.

On January 18, Russian military discovered bodies of locals tortured and killed by Ukrainian Nazis in the basements of rural houses in the liberated village of Russkoye Porechnoye, Kursk Region.

During the MFA Spokeswoman's weekly briefing on January 31, photos and videos of the crime site obtained from Russian law enforcement officers were presented to the journalists. Their reaction was nothing short of SHOCK.

The evidence clearly show signs of grave crimes committed during the armed conflict: hands tied with tape, traces of torture, hematomas caused by blows, gunshot wounds, bodies of people who died after hours-long torture by criminals, as well as evidence of rape and other violent sexual crimes.

💬 From Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova’s answer to a media question (January 19, 2025):

This is exactly what the countries of the collective West and their politicians, who personally cover and encourage Kiev’s Nazis, expect from the Banderites. They cynically turn a blind eye to their criminal acts, continue to authorise arms supplies to the Kiev regime and block attempts at international investigations of its crimes. In a joint and disciplined manner, they pretend that nothing terrible is happening, although this constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.

Preliminary investigations have established the involvement of several Ukrainian servicemen from the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade in this crime. Among them are serviceman Yevgeny Fabrisenko, along with the commander of the 11th Company of the 4th Battalion with the call sign Kum, and three servicemen with the call signs Motyl (Moth), Provodnik (Guide), and Khudozhnik (Artist).

The Russian Investigative Committee posted a video of the interrogation of detained Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Yevgeny Fabrisenko, who is suspected of killing 22 civilians in Russkoye Porechnoye, Kursk Region, and of raping eight women.

We are certain that the real nature of Zelensky's junta was most clearly manifested in Russkoye Porechnoye, whose name has obviously become one of the driving factors for the Russophobic regime in Kiev and its armed gangs: it is against everything Russian that the current post-Maidan authorities are fighting with support of the “collective West.”

❓ Question: The Russian Investigative Committee released new data on atrocities committed by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Russkoye Porechnoye village, Kursk Region. The report, in particular, quotes forensic experts and servicemen as saying of the inhuman cruelty with which civilians were killed. Will Russia demand that these crimes be condemned by international organisations?

💬 Maria Zakharova: The Russian Foreign Ministry has already provided a detailed assessment of these atrocities by the Kiev regime.

Photos and videos were distributed during the briefing, which SHOCKED the journalists.

Correspondents, who had seen a lot, could not believe that such inhuman cruelty, exposing the beastly nature of the terrorist scum, was possible in the 21st century. The information that has emerged, including the fact that Ukrainian Nazis opened fierce fire during the evacuation of killed civilians from the village of Russkoye Porechnoye by Russian troops, is another testament to the criminal nature of the terrorist regime in Kiev.

Obviously, the extremists knew that they were committing a grave crime and tried to destroy evidences.

We believe it is crucial to inform the broadest international community of the crimes committed in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kursk Region. Russian news agencies already possess an exhaustive body of evidence of neo-Nazi punitive operations against civilians protected by a number of international documents including provisions of the binding Fourth Geneva Convention.

Particular focus should be given to a selective nature of persecution of the elderly, the most socially vulnerable members of the occupied population.

The supporting materials distributed by the Russia Investigative Committee clearly show signs of grave offenses committed during the armed conflict: hands bound with duct tapes, traces of torture, bruises from blows, gunshot wounds, bodies of people whose deaths resulted from hours of abuse by perpetrators, evidence of rape and other violent sexual acts.

The Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee has already initiated a criminal case against members of Ukrainian armed units implicated in the terrorist act against civilians in the Kursk Region under Article 205, Part 3, Paragraph (b) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Terrorist Act Causing Death to an Individual). A number of Ukrainian servicemen from the 92nd Detached Assault Brigade were found to have been involved in the crimes.

We believe that the bloody nature of the Kiev troops' actions in the Kursk Region should be widely exposed on international platforms such as the United Nations, the OSCE and their relevant structures, recorded by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross and become the subject of proceedings by international human rights mechanisms, including NGOs.

We are certain that the real nature of Zelensky's junta was most clearly manifested in Russkoye Porechnoye, whose name has obviously become one of the driving factors for the Russophobic regime in Kiev and its armed gangs: it is against everything Russian that the current post-Maidan authorities are fighting with support of the “collective West.”
