في 12 يونيو أقيم حفل الاستقبال في السفارة الروسية في الكويت بمناسبة العيد الوطني – يوم روسيا.
وحضر حفل الاستقبال أكثر من 300 ضيف بما في ذلك ممثلي المؤسسة الكويتية والمجتمع المدني ورجال الأعمال والإعلام بالإضافة إلى ممثلي البعثات الدبلوماسية الصديقة وخريجي الجامعات السوفيتية / الروسية ومواطنين روس.
وقد افتتح حفل الاستقبال بكلمة ترحيبية ألقاها سعادة سفير روسيا الاتحادية لدى دولة الكويت السيد فلاديمير جيلتوف. وأكد السفير المعنى الخاص للعيد الوطني في سياق التاريخ المتواصل للحضارة الروسية التي تتجاوز ألف سنة وتتصف بهوية وطنية فريدة وثقافة عظيمة.
وأشار سعادة السفير إلى أن الاحتفال باليوم الوطني يكتسب معنى خاصًا في الظروف الجيوسياسية الحالية حيث تعتبر السيادة والأمن والمصالح الوطنية مفاهيما ذات أهمية قصوى لروسيا.
وقد جرى حفل الاستقبال في أجواء طيبة وحظي بتغطية من وسائل الإعلام الرسمية الكويتية، بالإضافة إلى مجتمع المدونين والمؤثرين في وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي.

🇰🇼 More than 300 guests attended, including representatives of the Kuwaiti establishment, civil society, business circles and media outlets as well as friendly diplomatic missions and graduates of Soviet / Russian universities, our compatriots.
🎤Ambassador of Russia to Kuwait H.E. Mr. Vladimir Zheltov addressed the guests with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the special significance of the national holiday in the context of the thousand-year history of the Russian civilization with its unique identity and great culture. It was noted that Russia Day gains distinctive meaning in the current geopolitical circumstances when the notions of sovereignty, security and national interests are of utmost importance to our country.
