✨️ On August 27, the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan hosted a seminar for prospective students of Russian universities who have received scholarships under the Government of the Russian Federation’s scholarship program, the Open Doors International Olympiad and competitions organised independently by Russian universities.
More than 60 Pakistani applicants took part in the event, both in person and online. They will soon begin their studies at universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and other cities across Russia.
💬 Ambassador Albert P. Khorev welcomed the scholarship program winners and congratulated them on the opportunity to pursue higher education at Russian universities renowned for their strong academic standards and traditions.
The seminar also featured presentations by Dr. Faisal Javaid, Dean of the Department of International Relations at FUUAST; Dr. Gul-i-Ayesha Bhatti, Assistant Professor at the NUST School of Social Sciences and Humanities and Director of the Eurasia Chapter at the Consortium for Asia Pacific & Eurasian Studies (CAPES); and Saif Ullah Tariq Butt, a Pakistani PhD student at Perm State University in Russia.
🎓 The speakers shared practical advice on studying and managing everyday life in Russia, while also answering questions from the prospective students. The knowledge and guidance gained during the seminar will help young Pakistanis successfully adapt to their studies and daily life in different cities across hospitable and multicultural Russia.
