✨️ On February 10, the Islamabad Institute of Strategic Studies hosted a roundtable discussion titled "European and Eurasian Security: The View from Moscow and Islamabad," featuring experts from Russia, including IMEMO RAS Director Feodor Voitolovsky and researchers Gleb Makarevich and Maria Khorolskaya.
During their presentations, the Russian researchers discussed the historical conditions that led to the collapse of the Euro-Atlantic security system. They emphasized the importance of the initiative proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin to establish a security architecture based on the primary regional integration structures — the #CIS, #SCO, #BRICS, #EAEU, and #CSTO — on the Eurasian continent.

Ф.А.Фаиз был одним из самых популярных в Советском Союзе поэтов Азии. В нашей стране с его написанные на урду произведениями в русском переводе любители поэзии познакомились уже в 1960 г.
🏅Значимый вклад Ф.А.Фаиза в мировую литературу, его деятельность, направленная на развитие культурного диалога между странами Евразийского региона были высоко оценены гражданами СССР и отмечены Москвой. В 1962 г. поэту была вручена Ленинская премия «За укрепление мира между народами».

He was one of the most popular Asian poets in the Soviet Union. As early as 1960, poetry lovers in our country were introduced to his Urdu works in Russian translation.
🏅 Faiz's significant contributions to world literature and his efforts to promote cultural dialogue between Eurasian countries were highly regarded by citizens of the USSR and recognized by Moscow. In 1962, the poet was awarded the Lenin Prize "For Strengthening Peace Between Nations."
His lines and the meaning embedded in them resonated with Soviet and later Russian readers. Books by Russian authors about the poet's life and work can still be found on the shelves of Russia's largest bookstores today.

🥈Once again, the family of Defence Attaché's Office member Evgeny Yusyuk showed the best results: Evgeny himself finished fifth in the 8 km race. His eldest son Egor took fourth place on the same distance, and his younger son Alexey took home the silver medal in the 1 km race!

Выразила благодарность руководству университета за организацию показа уникальных 42 полотен накануне профессионального праздника российских дипломатов.

Пешавара Ф.Такир совместно с другими представителями преподавательского и студенческого состава провела экскурсию для сотрудников Посольства, а также проживающих в Пакистане российских граждан. 🙏 Opening the exhibition, Minister-Counselor Natalia Shmeleva emphasized the importance of the project in fostering cultural and interpersonal dialogue between Russia and Pakistan. She thanked the university administration for organizing the exhibition of 42 unique paintings in honor of the professional holiday of Russian diplomats.
Faiza Tauqeer, Head of the Department of Art and Design at the University of Peshawar, together with other faculty and students conducted a tour for Embassy staff and Russian citizens living in Pakistan. Visitors to the exhibition had the opportunity to personally communicate with the artists.
🤝 At the end of the event, university representatives met with Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khorev. During the conversation, both parties expressed their willingness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of culture and education.
